If your organs are harvested while you're still using them, that's suicide. But if someone else's organs are harvested while they're still using them, that's good. And you say I have no compassion? I'm not the self-centered one, who thinks others should have their organs harvested before they die, but I should get to keep mine until after I'm dead.

You're constructing a straw man. Let's clarify things:
Conscious, healthy person: Don't kill them and take their organs, no matter how much BykrBayb wishes they'd off themselves.
Unconscious, terminally ill person: Consult with the family regarding removal of life support and organ donation. If it's me, hopefully things will go smoothly and my organs can be donated to help others.

So your distinction is between healthy people, and unhealthy people? Where have I heard that argument before? Oh, I remember.
"This person suffering from hereditary
defects costs the people 60,000
Reichmarks during his lifetime. People,
that is your money. Read 'New People'."

Yes! Hysteria! Straw men! False dilemmas! Ad hominem! Use all available tools in the holy struggle!
The distinction is between healthy people and people either definitely dead or on the brink of death. But don't let me keep you from your propagandizing.

I can imagine that ad hominem did, thanks to our moderators.

Can you explain to me how what you said is any different? I mean, without lying. Why do you want the truth censored out? If you're going to quote those old propaganda posters, you should be willing to face up to it.

I can imagine that ad hominem did, Many posters here question spending money on anybody who is not up to acceptable standards. What am I missing?

I'm afraid I couldn't explain it. If you can't explain it, could you ask the moderator to reinstate the post in question?

In other words, no, you can't see any difference either. That's why you got upset over it being posted. Because it showed the source of your material.

I think the moderator understands quite well. You are the one who doesn't understand.

As long as I don't tell anyone else, right? You still haven't answered either of my very simple questions? How is what you said any different, and why did want the truth censored?

I've explained three times how it is different, and the moderator censored ad hominem, not "truth".

Try to tell the truth, just once. You now have three questions posed to you. You haven't answered any of them.
How is what you said different?
Why did you want the truth censored out?
Why are you disrupting the pro-life thread?

The devaluing of life is evident in other areas, often in subtle ways. When there is a car accident during rush hour, what does everybody think? Would the accident victims' families welcome condolence cards from all the people who happened to drive past the accident but were otherwise strangers?
Generally, people are most interested in things that either
- They can affect, or
- Can affect them.
Radio stations' announcements regarding accidents' effects on traffic are often of interest to listers nearby because
- They may be able to avoid newly-congested roads, reducing congestion, and
- Traffic accidents may cause delays for them, and knowing the nature of such delays may offer hints as to what action is sensible (e.g. if an accident is immediately after the next exit, it may make sense to simply stay on the main road until past it; if the accident is immediately before the following exit, it may make sense to try to bypass it).
Knowledge where an accident is and the extent of traffic blockage will be useful to listeners. Knowledge of injuries or deaths caused by the accident would generally not be useful to most listeners, whether they were cold-hearted or not.
