Classic letter to the Editor below
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house)."According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part).
If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there. It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest...... um, except for well, you know. And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being anti-housebreaker.
Oh yeah, anther thing...I want you to learn my language too so you can communicate with me.
Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America....If you agree, pass it on"
Oh wow...this is a classic.
Good parable, Here is another one:
A bunch of kids decide to open a lemonade stand for a summer job. They borrow money from their parents for the supplies, cups, lemons, sugar. Pretty soon they have a big business, after the first month, to pay off their debts. Their lemonade is the best in town; cars are lined up for blocks every afternoon.
By the second month, the city begins to take note of the new business, and like the lefty evil bunch they are decide the kids need business licenses and need to charge an extra 10c in city sales tax. But, after a few weeks business is still booming the kids are turning a profit, even at the higher sales costs to overcome the taxes.
In the meantime, some other kids who havent done anything all summer on the next block have been taken into custody for vandalism of the wealthy mans windows on his mansion. The man decides not to press charges if the kids agree to work off the damages. The city and social workers agree because they were disadvantaged kids so they offer to set them up with a lemonade stand across the street from the original stand of the good law abiding tax paying kids as a way to work off their debts.
Furthermore, the city social workers pay for the bad kids supplies, cups, and lemons and sugar, since the city has extra money in their accounts by an unexpected business climate fueled by street vendor taxes.
With the good kids on one side of the street and the bad kids on the other, cars begin to line up at both. The good kids call out at out to those they thought were some of their loyal customers asking why they are buying from their competitors and the customers answer back because they are selling cheaper per glass (the bad kids arent paying for supplies).
Soon the wealthy man has enough to replace his window, but he decides the kids are making him good money, and really wants to renovate his house, so he bribes the city to keep them working the remainder of the summer to pay for the upgrades beyond the damages.
Well the original good kids business soon begins to shrink, they become frustrated and get into frequent shouting matches with the bad kids, saying they were criminals and shouldnt be rewarded. The bad kids parents hear the shouting and call the good kids parents explaining they are racists and will be charged with hate crimes.
Summer is almost over, so the good kids and their parents say they will just give up its not worth their time, they cant fight city hall.
And that is the way it works with fairness today!
But... in the end the bad kids didnt go back to school instead they sold lemonade for money to use on gang paraphernalia, they got involved in drugs and burned the rich mans house down.
The good kids never forgot about that summer went back to school, made good grades eventually got MBAs and opened frozen lemonade factory,
only employing legal honest tax payer workers.
Beautiful

Oh WE can see, it's the politicians in Wash. that can't see it. For some reason, they are all catering to these illegals! These illegals have MORE RIGHTS than you & me!
