If Fox was smart they would cough up for the car.

Exactly. The good press alone would be worth far more than the car, and everyone would walk away happy.

Give him the car, Fox.

I watched this game, and it I could not tell if Fox was kidding or not. In fact, I was hoping the trick was to make him think that's all they were giving him, then give him the real deal. Yikes, not very funny.

Now they are on satellite radio I believe.

They're back on the air in New York and other places (taking Howard Stern's old spot) as well as on XM satellite.

Stupid move by Fox, by the way.

Reminds me of the 100 Grand gag a radio station pulled. The 106th caller would win 100 Grand, caller is screaming that he won, announcer asks what he would do with that 100 Grand, caller said he would buy a new pickup truck, and the announcer asked him how he would do that with a candy bar.

I thought the 100 grand prank was from WAAF 107 in Worcester Mass.

Did Opie and Anthony have a show on that station?

It would be pretty hard for Good to maintain his credibility in the anger-management classes he teaches if he sued over this.

This statement isn't even good sarcasm.

I'm glad they didn't promise 100 thousand bucks and then give him 100 sows and bucks.

It was earnest.

Think about it. Good has put his life into training kids involved in gangs not to react selfishly and impulsively. He's caught between a rock and a hard place.

then a lot of courts would say they have to give a car away

I'd like to find the transcript. This may turn out to be a costly joke.

Typical of lawyers - SUE for a stupid joke and all America howls with glee over it and demands the head of the sued. (Shades of the colloseum) When are Americans going to get a real life? How about laugh? Or at least groan at the bad jokes?

Yes the joke was dumb, but what the hell do you expect when you make a stupid jock a national hero and something to be adored.

How about going back to shows that extoll the advancements of sciences, the goodness of humanity in America, The accomplishments of our children who may still have a decent school or the good fortune to have parents who haven't been 'stupified' themselves and home school them?

America is praising crime and immorality and denegrating morality and intelligence.

We have those who create BILLION$ for Americans to have jobs and then turn around and tax and have lawyers SUE them out of existance for ???? Force them out of the country out of petty jealousies that they are smarter or harder working than you?

Rant over - just getting violently ill from what this lawsuit mad uncivilized civilization has done to destroy this country.

Are you lawyers happier now?

I was just telling a friend about the toy Yoda. His wife won an all expense paid trip for two to Florida. It was tied in to some paralympics type competition her company was sponsoring. She was not told until she got there that she was expected to work the event, although her schedule was less than the other employees.

I told my buddy that his wife should inform her company about the toy Yoda case and advise them they are setting themselves up to lose a lawsuit.

Opie and Anthony moved to NY from WAAF. Their other big hit from the WAAF days was WOW (Whip 'em out Wednday)

You mean like Green Acres, Gomer Pyle, and The Addams Family? Or did you mean the show with the talking horse? Oh, no, wait... advancement of science. You must've meant the original Buck Rogers, or maybe Lost in Space?

The good old days weren't always good, and tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems.

You don't have a clue. The phrase is "anger management" not "anger elimination". Resolving this problem via the judicial system would be a perfect example for his class.
