I agree with you. It drives many of my politically liberal Christian friends crazy that I won't argue whether or not Jesus was a liberal or a conservative. He was all of those things. But His mission was personal, not political/public policy. Those are just the petty projects of man.

I still love them, even if they are really politically messed up. ; )

As a Christian and a Conservative, I am still waiting for the RINO party to do something to end the slaughter of children by state sanctioned abortion. The RINO's have also choked on homosexual marriage. This is not a rant on behalf of Dems but meant to say, "I am still waiting for a party that represents my values." I doubt Jesus would vote for either party.

Thanks for this article. I live in Tenn. and had no idea who Herron was. It was really an eye opener for me. No wonder Tennessee is in such bad shape. The Republicans took over the house and senate the last election, but then turned it back over to the Dems to run. Politics in this state drive me crazy.
