The White House is asking networks to break into soaps for the president later today. Stay tuned.

Should read "...is obliged to follow them"
congress would not have given a declaration of war in 2001.
Time's up, Leroy. Back to the land of the tinfoil hat and black helicopter.
Going to go watch it right now!! :O)
Your problem is that you don't know how to prosecute a war. The speech is part and parcel of the prosecution of the war.
We have many enemies, many who are domestic.
Before the invasion of Iraq is the issue. The Pres could have nuked a bunch of capitals in 9/11 without much trouble. By 9/13 that time was past.
He reminds me of my one brother ... it ain't an act
Actually, Santorum has been doing an excellent job of explaining the Iraq and the WOT. The President would do well to let him take the lead on this in the Senate. It would help Santorum, as well.
Savage doesn't think.
...while sending all the interns out for massive amounts of extra absorbent "Depends!"
Okay, he needs some room now and then. Maybe him on his boat a few miles from anybody else. Just him and the birds out on the island.
"Savage is one of the few sane ones"
That tells me all I need to know, thanks!
Great .. then he can scream at himself
Face it .. the guy is a nut
Yeah...he was Joe Reeder...and I missed most of what he said...because when he started out by saying that Bush was passing the buck...I muted the TV...LOL
Their going two need a case full in the next few months, I'm afraid.
Then maybe the President and Congress should have used the full process to declare war properly. If they had, the Patriot Act would have been unnecessary and the laws against sedition would have come into play.
We aren't fighting a war; we haven't fought one since World War II.
No problem. George Noory is also totally sane.
LOL...if you use Michael Savage for a gauge of ANYTHING...you are as looney as he is.
"To say that everything stops until OBL is dead is just absurd."
That's one of the many dem talking points to the ill-informed crowd, since we haven't found or killed OBL, Bush has failed.
I saw Weezely Clark on Cavuto last night and he was repeatedly saying how 'this administration has failed' on the War on Terror and we are no safer, Cavuto called him on every stupid point he tried to make, but Weezely just stuck to his prepared lines as usual. The dems are back in their usual mode, keep saying their lies over and over to program the stupid crowd. It's pathetic, and pathetic that the stupid ones buy it, hook, line and sinker.
Rush was a little perturbed but said that President Bush had to make this move due to the liberals in congress, the courts and left wing lawyers.
He said that GW refused to close down Club Gitmo and sent a message to the libs that wasn't going to happen.
I don't use Savage as a gauge, but I want to see if he reacts to the speech today.
"Bush didn't "pass the buck", but he did pass the ball back into the legislature's court, where the Supremes told him the ball should be. This was just perfect timing for the elections, because it will force the Democrats to make the choice, do they want to protect the citizens of the US, or do they want to protect our enemies?"
Exactly, he just tossed a 600 pound medicine ball into the rat's game room.
OK.......let's analyze this based on the fact that the speech had not yet been given, and that Minus_the_Bear's idiotic 'read my lips' post was pure negative speculation, shall we?
Had you already concluded that the speculation was accurate?
Had you already concluded that you as 'the base' would be dissatisfied with the speech?
Had you already concluded that there would be no 'red meat' in the President's words?
Had you already concluded that this would be a 'read my lips' betrayal by the President, thus agreeing with Minus' silly post?
You can be honest even though it might be embarrassing now that you know what the President actually said.
Why don't you tell me what you meant by this non-condemnation.....
We are at war, though. It just isn't our war. It is their war, the enemy has brought this. We could still make it our war by declaring war even now. But, we can't call off the war since it isn't our war. That's where the MSM and the other political types are wrong. We can't stop the war.
You might as well wait to find out what Bertha Rochester thinks.
Savage is an expert at spoken presentation. He has valuable professional insight on speech delivery and content. Those who do not speak for a living would not have the same level of insight. Phil Hendrie is also expert in this.
WOW....what a great strategery....and thank you so much for such a great explanation.
Now I can watch for it...
Smart freeper...you are brilliant.
Maybe he will ignore the speech. Wouldn't be the first time.
Rush will have to restock his inventory of Club Gitmo gear.
Thanks, I guess I could have googled it lol.
I'm ordering the biggest "W" I can find for my back window. Now all I will have to worry about is getting my car keyed or tires popped. lol
His name was Joe Reeder...and another poster just posted some information on him....and ex-Clintonista!! figures.
What he thinks is irrelevant at every level.
The only problem is, who do you declare war to? Declarations of war by definition are between Nation states, not amorphous groups. That, and formally declaring war tends to show a level of commitment that no government since WWII has been able to get.
Timing is everything.
They've added Snow to Rove's strategery.
I was also brilliantly positive! :-)
All good news, even the challenge to Congress.
Larry David is a bozo leftist "producer" of TV shows, whose wife Laurie David has been one of the nuttiest and most reprehensible hags raving about global warming (she's they typ to issue a PR with a blistering denunciation of SUV owners just before she hops on a private jet to fly to her next spa visit). To have Larry David and Arianna issues endorsements of a books is worth less than a cup of warm spit.
The pic of W in the flight suit is one of my favorites...thx for posting it!;^)
I heard the President detailing these different terrorists and their plans and how they thwarted several plots and my thought was "how does he stay so optomistic in light of such ongoing horrific daily reports"? But then I know he takes his strength from the Lord and relies upon the saving power of Jesus Christ to sustain him. HOw blessed we truly are that God set aside this man for such a time to lead our country.
exactly, I had thought the same thing, "who do you declare war to?"
one of mine too, your welcome!
Iraq would have been the immediate named enemy.
Yes, he is an actor and a phony. That is precisely the role he should be in when he critiques the speech.
