Document http://188.8.131.52/Released/09-06-06/CMPC-2004-001648.pdf dated March/19/2003 is hand written order from Saddam Hussein to the governor of Iraq Central Bank to give his son Qusay Saddam Hussein and another crony named Hikmat Mazban Ibrahim a total of ONE Billion Dollars so it will be protected from what he called the American Aggression. Of course this money was meant to be smuggled to some foreign secret bank accounts for Saddam family. This money was found by the US troops shortly after the fall of Saddam regime and handed later on to the free Iraqi government.

In the name of God the most merciful the most compassionate
Mr. Governor of the Iraqi Central Bank
We authorize through this letter that Mr. Qusay Saddam Hussein and Hikmat Mazban Ibrahim to receive the following:
1. Nine hundred and twenty millions American Dollars
2. Ninety millions Euros.
In order to protect it from the American aggression
Do what is necessary
President of the Republic
You are a Great American, JV!
Thank you : ). Do you remember the big truck that our troops captured shortly after the liberation of Iraq where they found many metallic boxes containing this one billion dollars?
Not s strong vote of confidence in the Euro. :)
I think I remember the story. It wasn't a billion they found, though, was it?
I have to search it up whether the truck contained a billion dollars or less than that.
LOL... good point :)
These Great Satan haters always prefer the Great Satan's greenbacks, with a recent example being Hezbollah.
You right "rightinthemiddle", it seems according the New York Times articles that not all the money was recovered by the US troops.
Nah, he was out of Euros because guess where most of the O-F-F bribes went!
