2 On Your Side has confirmed that the FBI is adding fugitive Ralph Bucky Phillips to its infamous Top 10 Most Wanted list.
Meanwhile, the reward for information in connection to the case has been increased to $350,000.
The FBI is offering $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Phillips.
The New York State Police Benevolent Association announced at a press conference in Albany Thursday afternoon they have raised money for a reward for information leading the arrest and conviction of Phillips is now $300,000. Another $50,000 will be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those helping Phillips evade police.
Phillips has also been added to the Federal Marshall's 15 Most Wanted List.
The ex-girlfriend of Ralph "Bucky" Phillips, Kasey Crowe, has been released from jail.
A Chautauqua County Court Judge says he had no choice but to release Crowe on her own recognizance after prosecutors told the court that their essential witness for Thursday's hearing was not available.
Crowe was arrested on August 31, hours after two New York State Troopers were shot on her property. She will appear in court again next month.
State Police continue to search for the fugitive in Chautauqua County. They are searching by air and on the ground.
The focus remains in Chautauqua County even though we are learning more about a connection in Pennsylvania.
State Police in Pennsylvania say Phillips spent 11 days at the home of Todd Nelson last month.
He is the man under arrest since last Wednesday when investigators say they found 33 stolen guns that were taken from Tom's Sport Shop in Ellington.
Nelson is now charged with hindering prosecution. He is in jail on $25,000 bail.
Investigator confirm that Phillips is the #1 suspect in that burglary.
Leads continue to be called in.
State Senator Catherine Young, District Attorney David Foley, and Chautauqua County Executive Gregory Edwards held a press conference Tuesday afternoon to call for the public's help to catch fugitive Ralph "Bucky" Phillips.
Though they asked for the public's help, the D.A. stressed that no one should take the law into their own hands.
They also asked hunters to stay out of the area because they were causing too many false sightings.
State Police Superintendent, Wayne Bennett, says Phillips is the number one suspect in the shooting of two state troopers, fatally injuring one of them.
Two New York State Troopers were "ambushed" in Cassadaga Thursday night.
The two troopers are identified as 32-year-old Joseph Longobardo with Troop G and 38-year-old Donald Baker, Jr. Trooper Longobardo.
Trooper Longobardo died Sunday at ECMC while Trooper Baker is in serious condition at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.
State Police revealed in a press conference Saturday that the person who "ambushed" two troopers fired their weapon eleven times.
The troopers were on surveillance when they were shot sniper-style Thursday night. Police have also revealed that one of the troopers was close enough to fire back.
Fugitive Ralph "Bucky" Phillips is the number one suspect in the shootings and State Police warn that he could hurt anyone in the community who gets between him and his freedom.
Bucky's not going ANYWHERE... if he was, he'd of been long gone by now. he plans to stay there till he's dead so unless they plan on sending in men to look for him, the lists mean nothing.
Local radio breaking in with a presser. Phillips may be cornered in anb area of western NY and PA along the border. Shots fired, Phillips still loose. Folks in that area should take care. Warren County, PA
Sounds like Phillips was involved in at least one car crash while LEOs were in pursuit. Don't know if Phillips was injured, though he did take off on foot.
Per presser: Anyone attempting to help Phillips will be charged with felony charges. LEOS are there and they are going to stay there.
The questions from the reporterettes are ridiculous. The spokesman should tell them that Bucky intends to escape via one of the female reporters. Scatter!
If you guys hear anything else, please let me know. Thanks.
Fox News Radio just reported that B.P. is "confined to a wooded area" after firing a pistol at a trooper with a dog on his trail...
PHILLIPS CAUGHT 8:00 PM !!!
