ABC News has confirmed that Adam Gadahn, the American who converted to Islam and joined al Qaeda, has been charged in a sealed indictment with providing material support to terrorism.
Gadahn recently appeared with al Qaeda's No. 2 in command Ayman Zawahiri exhorting Americans to convert to Islam. Gadahn, in addition to helping al Qaeda with propaganda and communications, is also suspected of helping al Qaeda with English translations and understanding U.S. culture and vulnerabilities. Charges may be announced in the next week. Officials have also considered charging Gadahn with treason.

Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Will someone actually press charges of treason? INAL (I an Not A Lawyer) but this seems to fit.
Article snippet: "Charges may be announced in the next week."
ARTICLE SNIPPET: That explains why I couldn't find a charge sheet on any of the alphabet web sites.
There's still this FBI.GOV - SEEKING INFORMATION that is in effect:
Him, the mainstream media, and almost every Democrat.
"Bring him in boys!"
Here's hoping Marin Conty's Jihad Johnny gets a cellmate real soon.
That would certainly be the wiser way.
Put them both in with "Tiny" the biker.
We should work up a pool, the winner of which gets to flip the switch. Second place gets to roll in the gurney.
meanwhile we sit on our hands while the ex president of the terrorist state of Iran strolls around the country bad mouthing us and our President. Thats kinda like emperor Hirohito coming over for a visit during the height of WW2.
Gadahn-Pearlman had advance notice of the 9/11 attacks.
Sorry, this subhuman is not and never was an American. How about former citizen of northwestern hemisphere.
In spite of the name Pearlman, this thing was not born a Jew. His paternal grandfather was Jewish. That would make him a Jew "according to Hitler" but not "according to Judaism."
Well, here is what the Constitution has to say:
Article 3 - The Judicial Branch
Section 3 - Treason
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
And here is the US law:
* United States Code
o TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
+ PART I - CRIMES
# CHAPTER 115 - TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES
Section 2381. Treason
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war
against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and
comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason
and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five
years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and
shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
While the Constitution is the sole, and only source which defines the crime of Treason (and it is the *only* crime that the Constitution so much as mentions by name, let alone define) the definition *is* narrow, for a reason. That being to *make* it difficult for a government to arbitrarily define dissent as Treason.
Looking at the definition given by the Constitution as to what clearly and definitively constitutes Treason, yes, he qualifies (adhereing to enemies of the United States)...
I further argue that by giving "aid and comfort" to those whose express goal is to supplant the Constitution with sharia "law", he is in effect waging war upon the Constitution, and thus waging war upon the United States...
Whether or not someone in lawful authority has also doped this out in like fashion, and will act upon it, remains to be seen...
Charge him with high treason and apply the appropriate penalty.
