9/11 Hijackers Wanted To Avenge… Bosnia!
Sweetness & Light ^ | September 8, 2006 | N/A

Posted on 09/08/2006 3:09:50 AM PDT by Sam Hill

By now you have probably heard of how Al Qaeda is celebrating the fifth anniversary of 9/11 by releasing previously unaired video of Bin Laden's meeting and preparations with some of the hijackers.

Here Aljazeera, which has aired some of the footage, provides some more information about the video's contents -- including some surprising details which our one party media will surely ignore:

Al-Qaeda video takes credit for 9/11

Friday 08 September 2006

A new videotape aired on Aljazeera television has shown Osama bin Laden and senior al-Qaeda members meeting some of the men who carried out the September 11 attacks against the US in 2001. The 90-minute video apparently shows bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda, taking part in the planning and preparation of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people...

The footage, first aired on Thursday, also shows Abu Hafsa al-Masri, al-Qaeda's then military leader, and Ramzi bin al-Shaiba, co-ordinator of the 9/11 attacks, meeting in al-Qaeda's training camps in Taliban controlled Afghanistan. The tape also says that a previous unknown Arab Islamist, Abu al-Turab al-Urduni, supervised the training for the attacks.

The video said the preparation for the attacks included not only flight training but also lessons in street-fighting and how to forge official documents.

The video also showed two of the 19 Islamists who took part in the attacks, Saudi nationals Hamza al-Ramdi and Wael el-Shemari. The men said that their actions were inspired by an urge to avenge the suffering of Muslims in Bosnia and Chechnya.

Ramzi bin al-Shaiba was captured by the US in 2002. He is now reportedly being held in Guantanamo Bay. Aljazeera has aired only three minutes of the tape.

Afghanistan training camp Parts of the tape show bin Laden - wearing a dark robe and white head gear - strolling through an Afghan training camp, greeting dozens of followers, some masked, some barefaced, many carrying automatic weapons. Aljazeera said that among those he greeted in the footage were several of the 9/11 hijackers but their faces were not clear, and it was not immediately known which ones were shown.

In one scene, bin Laden addresses the camera, calling on Muslims to support the hijackers. "I ask you to pray for them and to ask God to make them successful, aim their shots well, set their feet strong and strengthen their hearts," bin Laden said.

The comments were apparently filmed before the attacks but never before released. The footage also shows scenes of training at the camp.

That's right.

The hijackers claimed they were going to fly airplanes into important buildings in New York and DC to "avenge the suffering of Muslims in Bosnia and Chechnya."

Never mind that the United States helped fight a war to try to protect the Muslim population in Bosnia. (In fact, we still have troops stationed there as peacekeepers.)

http://www.rjgeib.com/thoughts/bosnia/us-army3.jpg

And never mind that Chechnya is the bailiwick of the Soviet Union Russia and a matter we have no control over whatsoever.

Apparently the hijackers made no mention of any of the motives usually attributed to them. Such as their anger at the US presence in Saudi Arabia, or our support for Israel, or even their general hatred of Western decadence.

But of course we will never hear anything again about the 9/11 terrorists' actual motives. Not from the guardians of truth in our one party media.

They won't allow any rewrites of their version of 9/11.

Want to watch Al Jazeera in original?
http://wwitv.com/portal.htm (no, wwitv is not an error, it is not www, that's exactly the URL of the website) There choose Qatar
Al Jazeera comes right in after clicking on the number (mid-screen down) right to the name (don't click on the name)

Here by the way, you can watch literally thousands of tv stations from all over the world.

When Muslims succeed, they are just emboldened. The fact that we would intercede for the Muslims in Bosnia demonstrated to the head-hacking SOBs the we would happily hold the knife to our own throats for their convenience.

It's that whole Strong Horse/Weak Horse thing. I can think of no way to demonstrate that we are a Weak Horse than to be intervening on the wrong side of the historical conflicts in the Balkans, but doing so in such a way that we will not risk even one American casualty. That whole episode was a perfect object lesson in the weakness and fecklessness of American policy.

We should send Al Jazeera film of this guy with panties on his head being taunted by pfc Lyndy England ....that would sure send the message to the terrorists that we mean business and are willing to horribly "torture" prisoners.

Haha. Bosnia. IF true - Isn't that the same Bosnia that Clinton 'helped' with his 'peace' initiative? A place where our troops and others keep this peace? A place where said peace initiatives gave advantage after advantage to the Muslim populations (Bosnia, Kosovo, Albania), driving out many Christians, destroying Churches, changing the face of the government?

Yeah, it's easy to see what they'd have to 'avenge'... Gee, and if only people had given the warning that this might happen, that the Muslims weren't an 'oppressed minority', that, as in 'Palestine', they were looking for an international vehicle to overrun the locals. /sarcasm

As if it were needed, the video gives us more evidence of the infantilism and psychosis of the IslamoFascists. We are attacked for HELPING them. Like a two year old who is offended when his parents do something for him that he wishes he could do for himself, the Islamomoonbats are outraged that while they can sow havoc and death, they cannot protect their own.

And, of course, this totally puts paid to the idea that if we reached out and were more sympathetic we wouldn't need all this nasty fighting stuff. Two year olds need time out. Islamowackos need the death they so ardently seek.

Yes, this tape was the first I'd heard of this particular wrinkle, but you won't be hearing about it on the networks.

Also, if you read Bin Laden's "declaration of war" from the mid-90s, he specifically names Clinton as one of the reasons he was calling for his jihad.

Again, we won't hear much about that from the networks, and we haven't so far.

If ABC were to include it, they'd be forced to retract it by the Arkansas mafia.

Related to this story, from the text of Osama bin Laden's Declaration of War against the United States issued in Afghanistan on August 23, 1996, as per Wikipedia:

We say to the Defence Secretary that his talk could induce a grieving mother to laughter! And it shows the fears that have enveloped you all. Where was this courage of yours when the explosion in Beirut took place in 1983 CE (1403 A.H). You were transformed into scattered bits and pieces; 241 soldiers were killed, most of them Marines. And where was this courage of yours when two explosions made you to leave Aden in less than twenty-four hours!

But your most disgraceful case was in Somalia; where, after vigorous propaganda about the power of the U.S.A. and its post-cold war leadership of the new world order, you moved tens of thousands of international forces, including twenty-eight thousand American solders, into Somalia. However, when tens of your solders were killed in minor battles and one American pilot was dragged in the streets of Mogadishu, you left the area in disappointment, humiliation, and defeat, carrying your dead with you. Clinton appeared in front of the whole world threatening and promising revenge, but these threats were merely a preparation for withdrawal. You had been disgraced by Allah and you withdrew; the extent of your impotence and weaknesses became very clear. It was a pleasure for the heart of every Muslim and a remedy to the chests of believing nations to see you defeated in the three Islamic cities of Beirut, Aden, and Mogadishu.

I say to the Secretary of Defence: The sons of the land of the two Holy Places had come out to fight against the Russians in Afghanistan, the Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and today they are fighting in Chechnya, and by the Permission of Allah, they have been made victorious over your partner, the Russians. By the command of Allah, they are also fighting in Tajikistan.

I thought I heard on ABC Radio news this morning that they were blaming America
for Muslims dying in Checnya (sp?) (A USSR/Russian territory!),
Kosovo (where we saved the Muslims), and Kashmir (where it's Muslims v.
Indians).

The Kosovo complaint really blew my gasket. I remember reading a
magazine story about Muslims serving in the US Military.
One fellow said that he and a friend joined because they met a Muslim
from Kosovo that told him how the US Military had rescued the Muslims of Kosovo
from the killing by their renegade neighbors.

Well, that's Islam.
Any pretext to justify going to war.
Even against the innocent.

"That whole episode was a perfect object lesson in the weakness and fecklessness of American policy."

In all fairness, we were the subjects of a very successful propaganda campaign. And if I didn't know who the players were and what their real stake was, I'd have done what the US government did, too.

But, on the other hand, that is what we pay intelligence agencies and the US State Department to do -- discover the truth and make recommendations that serve US interests. And yet what happened could not have been worse for all concerned. In fact, we shot ourselves in the foot and none of our actions were "in our interests" -- a fact of which the Democrats were actually proud of!

The people of the Balkans have been dealing with radical Islam for centuries. They are hardened to what it takes to succeed against them even when it offends our sensibilities. They know Islam, and until 9/11, we hadn't a clue. Unfortunately, I think that for the most part, we are still wandering around in the dark trying to find the light switch re Islam. I just hope that we can survive our way-too-slow learning curve!

Here's something from "The Transatlantic Intelligencer" blog -- http://trans-int.blogspot.com/2005/03/return-of-ruder-finn-background-on-pro.html After the interview from the last link with James Harff (Ruder Finn PR agent who represented the Croats, Bosnian Muslims and Kosovo Albanians during the Balkan wars), there is this:

"An article published in Wednesday’s New York Sun under the title “Advisor to Annan Triggers Concern” now reveals that David Finn, the chairman of Ruder Finn, has served as a “pro bono” advisor to Kofi Annan since he became UN Secretary General in 1997. Furthermore, the article reveals that Kofi Annan’s nephew Kobina was employed as a paid intern at Ruder Finn – “Kofi Annan asked David Finn if he would give some guidance to his nephew, Kobina Annan,” a Ruder Finn spokesperson is quoted as saying – and that “Ruder Finn's publishing arm is selling Mr. Annan's 2001 Nobel Peace Prize lecture as a hardcover book”. “At the same time that Ruder Finn employed Mr. Annan's nephew,” the article notes,

Two senior Ruder Finn officials, Anne Glauber and Dena Merriam, who is Mr. Finn's daughter, were hired as outside contractors by the U.N. Development Program to revamp its communications office. They were paid $30,000 for two months' work, according to a UNDP spokesman, William Orme.

I do not want here to discuss James Harff’s assessment of the relative responsibility of the warring parties for the ravages of the Bosnian Civil War. But I will recall that it was in Bosnia that the UN essentially lost its innocence and, for better or for worse, abandoned the impartiality among warring parties that had hitherto been the sine qua non for UN peace-keeping operations. The most spectacular event in this process of transformation was the 1995 bombing of Bosnian Serb positions by NATO forces in connection with – though in fact not quite under – a UN mandate. The go ahead for the operation on the part of the UN bureaucracy – which was supposed to hold one of the two “keys” that had to be “turned” to initiate NATO air strikes in Bosnia – was given by none other than Kofi Annan in his capacity as then Under-Secretary General. Richard Holbrooke, in his notably self-aggrandizing account of the Bosnian conflict To End A War (New York: Random House, 1998), goes so far as to claim that it was thanks to this act of indulgence toward NATO that Annan would later become Secretary General: “in a sense Annan won the job on that day” (p. 103).

In his book Dubious Mandate: A Memoir of the UN in Bosnia, Summer 1995 (Durham and London: Duke, 1999), Phillip Corwin has written on the developments in question as follows:

If NATO wanted to declare war against one of the parties to the conflict in Bosnia, then it should have done so under a NATO flag, not under a UN flag. It was disingenuous to enter a country as a peacekeeping force and then to wage war against one of the parties.

Corwin was the UN’s chief political officer in Bosnia. In his book, he also recounts, incidentally, how a Bosnian government official “threatened his life” when he proposed to visit Srebrenica following its fall to Serb forces in July 1995. Shortly after the meeting in question, Corwin would be the target of sniper fire that, he claims, came from Bosnian government positions."

Never mind that the United States helped fight a war to try to protect the Muslim population in Bosnia. (In fact, we still have troops stationed there as peacekeepers.)

Using Christian Serbs as scapegoats in Bosnia and Kosovo (waging wars on them to show "sympathy" for the Muslims there) won't appease the Islamofascist scum. They will continue to kill Americans regardless.

Bokababe, Clintoon's WH was creating the policy and carried execution through NATO, UN was a figleaf to cover blatant aggression. Rudder Finn was merely a tool for providing prefab lies to brainless media consumers.

It worked like a clockwork. Rudder Finn needs approval from DoS in order to accept a client. I suspect they got firm guidelines from DoS. Their role was to create emotionally charged PR scripts in a Goebbels fashion and distribut it to MSM. If he was alive today, Ike would call it "Military-Industrial-Media Complex"

Important point- if Islamonazis destroyed WTC because of "suffering of Muslims in Bosnia" there is a solid ground to sue all MSM who distributed the lies about alleged suffering of Muslims and created such impression.

Imagine being Muslim with a simple mindset watching MSM and reading American press. You could get impression that millions of Muslims died in Bosnia, while the real number is less than 60000 (total death toll in Bosnia was less than 102,000)

Serious propaganda costs serious money. I am still looking for plausible explanation for U.S. role in the Balkan civil wars. It is too much money to cover zippergate. As it is now, I believe that the objective was not to support Muslims, but to ethnicaly cleanse Serbs from the most of the territory of the former Yugoslavia, namely, from Croatia, large swaths of Bosnia and Kosovo.

In the Balkans, U.S. did not meet a Serb enemy she did not like. Islamofascists were U.S. allies and U.S. was even allied with Iran to support them. Only a naive person can not see the bigger picture there, far surpassing Balkan morass.

If the very same scum America armed, trained and supported striked the U.S. soil and killed 2000+ Americans, it is an example of what goes around, comes around.

Clinton's WH, DoS and MSM can be held criminally responsible for the destruction of WTC for aiding and abetting the enemy of the United States.

Look, it is useless to find any rationality in Muslim thinking. Ultimately, they hit us because we are big. Because we (in their view) are responsible for everything, from earthquakes to famine to wars in Sudan to how ugly Sahib's wife is. Because we are (in their view) the Empire From Beyond That Is So Strong That No One Can Oppose Except Through Suicide Bombers.

In the words of that great 20th century philosopher, Wilt Chamberlain, "No one likes Goliath."

This exposes the DemonRat-Leftist lie that our foreign policy is to blame for Islamic terrorist attacks against us. We aided the Afgan rebels who fought the Soviel occupation. We tried to feed and protect Muslims in Somalia. We dropped bombs in Bosnia to save Muslims from supposed genocide. The thanks we got was attacks on our embassies in Africa, the attempted sinking of the Cole, and the attacks on 9/11. The truth is that there is nothing we can do to please IslamiNazis and their sympathizers in the Muslim Nation. The only thing that will make them happy is our destruction. We could abandon Israel and allow them to destroy it. We could withdraw completely from the Middle east. IslamiNazis will still hate us and want to kill us. The DemonRats and the rest of the Left are practicing "the Big Lie." As far as IslamiNazis are concerned, we are damned if we do, and damned if we don't.
