Yeah. I think any American corporation, or individual, threatened by sitting U.S. Senators has to take it seriously.
Look. I make a distinction myself between Clinton and representatives of his (former) administration attempting to smear and strong arm ABC/Disney on the one hand, and the recent actions of Senate Democrats on the other. Yeah, sure even the former is disgusting, ludicrously self-absorbed and recklessly destructive of rational public discourse. And indeed it's of a censorious "spirit". But I agree with you that it's not literally "censorship".
But if you can't see sitting Senators PUBLICLY demanding that a private entity alter or withhold its work product as a real attempt at effect literal censorship, then you've jumped the shark my friend.
I have also read your posts, and don't see anything besides a slightly differing opinion from the mass on a few subjects. You do seem reasoned and rational.
It would be a sad day on Free Republic if we start knee jerk banning because of a different view. We would be no better than DU.
