Harry Reid vs. Harry Reid
April 20th, 2006 11:31 am
Harry Reid came out swinging yesterday… at himself.

Back in October, 2002, he was adamant about working with European allies:

Reid, who calls himself a “hawk,” not a dove, has nevertheless been adamant that Bush vigorously pursue the support of the United Nations and European allies, calling a go-it-alone attack a very last resort.

But yesterday, he said:

The Bush administration is relying too heavily on other countries in the international effort to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons, according to Sen. Harry Reid.

Reid, D-Nev., said the administration should be taking the lead, but instead is relying on Germany, France and Great Britain to convince Iran to end its uranium enrichment program.

So that we’re all clear on this, Harry Reid’s position is to pursue the support of European allies to engage a radical islamic dictator who’s hell-bent on acquiring WMDs, while Harry Reid’s position is to stop relying on European allies to engage a radical islamic dictator who’s hell-bent on acquiring WMDs.

Glad we could clear that up.

He's one man I can't bear. I turn him off everytime he shows his face on television. He's got such a muley, mean-spirited face and it reflects his heart and his character. Aarrgghhhh.
