I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

They are such fools, I do not know what % of people use computers but I can guarantee that even the ones that do not want this movie to air are going to look at the cut sceens just out of curiosity sake.

I heard that the director of the film has received death threats, and some left wing web sites have published the home addresses of ABC executives.

There sure is going to be a large order of those uncut versions of DVD. Want to bet Borders does not carry it.

Not only is this site watching for major edits but Rush is also. he saw the pre screening and has a DVD copy that "was slipped over the transom." He's going to start tomorrow's show about part one.

That everyone is allegedly running an "unedited" version makes me believe that there isn't any other version.

It does sound like more hype. If there is an 'uncut' version, it will be out later on DVD...and both will show a heroic Clinton.

It makes no sense whatsoever that ABC would have the integrity to budget and make the $40 million film, run it without commercials, offer free Internet downloads and streaming (which they had been promising last week), and distribute the unedited version overseas, and then ..... ruin all that goodwill by chopping it up to hide portions from American viewers, and at the behest of Bill Clinton.

I think this "edited" version is a hopeful myth of the Rats. There is no "edited" version.

The US media are going to have a hard time explaining why the people in other countries can view this film without censorship while we are not given the same FReedom.

ABC said all edits were finished by Friday night.

They edited things (like flow etc.), but I doubt they would run two versions.

Apparently, they did not edit out the scenes the Clintons are complaining out (if they are in fact running the Berger hang-up scene etc. overseas).

What is the facts surrounding this, did Berger, in fact hang up on them, or is this just representative of him not giving permission in general?

The good news is that if the unedited version was broadcast in Australia, New Zealand, and the BBC will broadcast the unedited version worldwide on its network, there will be zillions of copies made that can be shown on the internet here is the USA if ABC has tinkered with the USA version. I kind of doubt that ABC would mess with the USA version. They are not fools. We shall see in a few hours. If disney/ABC let the unedited version run, it means that Bill Clinton and the Democrat Party have no power whatsoever. Why do i get the feeling that someone or some group is trying to destroy Bill Clinton and the Democrat party, and it ain't Republicans, Conservatives or the VRWC. Any ideas. or am I nuts?

I am no big fan of the BBC by any means, but I do not thing they would stand for parts being censored for politcal correctness. Hell what is it to show this compared to a film that shows the assassination of a sitting president.
