ATHENS, Greece-One Swedish soldier was killed and another was slightly injured when they were hit by a car in northern Greece, authorities said Sunday.
The dead man, 25, was run over by the car near the town of Kallithea in the Halkidiki peninsula, some 90 kilometers (60 miles) southeast of Thessaloniki, Greece's second-largest city, police said. The injured man also was hit by the car.
The two soldiers, who were serving in the peacekeeping force in Kosovo, known as KFOR, were on holiday in the Halkidiki peninsula. Their names were not released.
Why is this news?
Well it is more news to those who follow the Balkans and issues there. I guess the Balkans isn't any concern to you. Sorry it wasted a few precious seconds of your computer time.
What does a couple of soldiers killed in a traffic accident have to do with the issues?
These soldiers are part of a group of western soldiers stealing and keeping land for the Muslim Albanian criminals. The ones hyped on your TV 24/7 back for 3 months in 1999.
It doesn't bother me that much. I was just asking.
Jeez, take it easy.
