DID CLINTON CAUSE 9/11? ASK SANDY BERGER
yahoo news ^ | 9122006 | Maggie Gallagher

Posted on 09/12/2006 6:08:37 PM PDT by BlueJ7

Over the years, historians and dramatists will produce many, many versions of "The Path to 9/11." If Bill Clinton wishes in the future to complain about historical inaccuracies, I suggest he first answer one question:

What handwritten notes, and by whom, were on the three copies of classified documents (out of five) that Sandy Berger chose to steal and cut up with scissors in 2003, smack in the middle of the 9/11 commission's investigation?

When we know the answer to that question, Bill, then and only then will you be entitled to complain about historical inaccuracies in the record.

President Carter is close, but he had Rosalind Carter took control. President Carter was a "closet" president!

The "used-car salesman-esque" ex-President was far more than lackadaisical, he was criminally negligent. His "bought and paid for" flunky, the Burglar, is no better. Not only did he participate in one of the most crime ridden administrations in our history, but he tried to cover it up by stealing the people's documents. As far as I've been able to find out, this is the first time in our history ANY criminal has stolen documents from the National Archives. These people are as much scum as the terrorists--and will probably find themselves on the same level of hell.

These are the things I fault the Bush administration for.
Also the illegals in our country.

We are now finding our there is "talk" that there has been
been evidence that there are illegals from Eastern countries sneaking into the US.

If so, what in the world did they expect?

Bill Clinton, for all his obvious flaws, is a normal, patriotic American who, if he had recognized the danger and known how to prevent it, would certainly have done so.

Patriotic? Maggie, how could Clinton or anyone else recognize the danger when he deliberately prevented the CIA and the FBI from communicating and connecting the dots?

He blinded the nation to what was coming.

"Slaughter added as co-signers of the letter three senior Democrats who would join her as committee chairmen if Democrats won control of the House. They are Rep. John Dingell of Michigan, senior member of the House; Rep. Jane Harman of California, a top party spokesman on national security; and Rep. John Conyers of Michigan, a left-wing leader."

OK, why hasn't the Justice Department charged these under the RICO Act. They made serious threats to ABC/Disney! The fools in this administration are as culpable as the criminals to allow these actions to stand.

"If he was military he would have been court martialed for incompetence."

Thanksfully, he never got that far, which completely exposes the biased hypocrisy from the left...and especially the media. These people spent 5+ years in Texas, chasing down Bush's TANG service. Instead of coming up with anything substantive, we got a doctored memo supposedly from a dead man.

This is completely different to how the media treated the draft-dodger, who not only refused to serve, he intentionally lied on his ROTC application and misrepresented his intentions. Contrary to the fake TANG memo, everyone in the media had access to Col. Holmes' affadavit (and the Col himself, who was still alive) which detailed Clinton's illegal deceptions to avoid the draft. How anyone can trust anything this man has to say with such a history of deception is beyond me.

I forgot something.

I am going to make this point on every reply I make.

Remember on 9/11 the President had only been in office 7 MONTHS and 19 DAYS! [As the dims would say if it were Clinton] not 9 months not even 8 months as so many on TV, on the webb sites and even in the news.

Also he was 56 days behind time in getting his administration started. How much can any one do in so a short time?

Have you ever stopped to consider that Burgler may have planted documents also, not just removed documents. The democrat administration of our government has no boundaries of truth or moral character, so anything, literally, is possible with those people. And Burgler isn't the only clintooon goon who has had open access to the archives. As clintoon's 'library' is stocked, others have been admitted for research among the archives. Just imagine what those lying, criminals have accomplished in the way of planted docs and removals.

These are the things I fault the Bush administration for.

Since Tony Snow got there, they seem to understand that they are involved in politics, and politics is like war, except you don't kill anybody (the Clintons never got that memo.) I hope they keep up the good fight. If nobody gets in trouble for leaking the NSA intel, then we'll know they aren't serious about doing the right thing vis-a-vis the Democrats.

The idea that President Bush is responsible for 9-11 is ludicrous.

Stealing classified government documents is a federal offence but only if you are NOT part of the clinton whitehouse crime syndicate.Everyone else gets time to serve.

Al-Qaeda grew while Monica blew.

Bill and Monica were made for each other. Monica has a crooked mouth.

From what I understand is, that the files that are "missing" are the inter memos that were written before the official finished article was printed.

These were the notes among those that had handwritten suggestion on the sides of the papers and were initialed.
I would like to believe that there were warnings to make sure no one was blamed for any mistakes that may have been made.

Strange we never heard anything from the celebrity "historians" about this insult to history. Future generations have no idea what this vandal took out, and more importantly we have no idea what he put it. This jewel of historical research is now forever tainted on this subject.

I rarely hear it mentioned that he may have in fact done a document swap. The only thing that disinclines me to believe he did such a thing was that it would have been harder to catch.

"Remember on 9/11 the President had only been in office 7 MONTHS and 19 DAYS!"

I mentioned in an earlier post that Clinton blinded the country and prevented us from stopping the 9-11 attack with the Gorelick wall.

I wonder, did Terrorist Super Expert Richard Clark push to have this wall knocked down during President Bush's first 7 months? If so, what was W's reaction to this and what was Condi's and Powells? Why did Clintons wall still stand?

Regards.

You are exactly right! And unlike Clinton, who had time for pizza parties with interns, Bush entered office with a number of issues to deal with...not even including the delay because of the contested election. From the recession and the need to get tax-cuts passed, to Enron and the corporate scandals (still an issue up until 9/11 and after), the Soviets and the ABM Treaty, the UN and the ICC/Kyoto...and the Chinese crisis after they downed one of our planes, Bush had a much fuller plate than most presidents.

Heck, one of the most important cabinet positions when it came to domestic terrorism concerns (Attorney General) was obstructed as the Democrats attacked Ashcroft for weeks trying to make his Faith a disqualifier for the position. When you consider all of these issues...especially how the Democrats immediately tried to delegitimize his presidency, it's amazing the country got through all this as well as we did. Just looking back at all this, I'd like to ask the conspiracy theorists just when Bush had time to plan the 9/11 attack.

...aborted attacks on Bin Laden

Jimmy Carter also aborted attacks in Iran.

The left has always been the party of abortion.
