"The President hasn’t enjoyed a 45% approval rating since a couple of days in July. His ratings haven’t been higher than 45% since February 22, 2006. Since this is just the second day of a bounce, it remains to be seen whether this reflects lasting change or is nothing more than statistical noise. "

Funny, I thought 33% was statistical noise. Plus I add 7-10% because the polls are always skewed Democrat.

So based on that, Bush is doing pretty good.

More bad news for poll obsessed RATS.

Even though we know these are ALL bogus because of overpolling Dems, the trend has got to drive the left mad.

Couple that with his 55% approval in the way he's handling the War on Terror and we should continue seeing nervous breakdowns all over the leftist front.

As long as he stays away from immigration, and emphasizes the war and the economy, he will go up. Low gas prices will help.

If GWB keeps his mouth shut on amnesty for illegal immigrants....

If he would change his stance on illegal immigration he would be at 55%. His plan is drawing down the pubbie votes. It just shows you what is more important - even a political party or a One World Order own & run by the elites.

"....September, our partisan weighting targets are 37.0% Democrat, 32.7% Republican, and 30.2% unaffiliated. This represents a slight increase in the number of Democrats and unaffiliateds."

Why do pollsters always do this? You think they would have learned from the 04 Repub turnout.

The undecided 3% is just slightly less than the unemployment rate of 4.7%. Meanwhile, there is no clear favorite in the Super Bowl poll.

If not for [the MSM efforts], he'd probably be in the 60s.

No, he wouldn't. Only 50% of voters approved of Bush in 2004. There can only be like 8 or 9 drunk and stoned AL GORE voters somewhere in western Iowa would EVER approve of George W'. Bush's job in office.

Thus, like 4.7% unemployment is "FULL EMPLOYMENT," since 2004, 50% is "full approval" for Bush.

The only reason he hit 39% lows or whatever, is that the "close the border now conservatives" left him during that time. The "other" 50% has never changed their mind.

Expect the party let by satan to start on something new to attack President Bush on daily until elections, they will not stop then. The left think they won big victory last night.

Meaning it's probably closer to 55% if they would only stop polling in blue states only.

"50% is "full approval" for Bush."

So how did that 92% approval come about shortly after 9/11/2001?

Something that has always made we wonder is, exactly what does the American public in general think the Presidents job is? You have to know what his executorial duties are in order to approve of disapprove of his performance don't you?

"Just stay away from the immigration issue."

Or publicly support border control like the vast majority of citizens, and voters, want.

They want a president who says he feels their pain and then turns his back on them and indulges himself in every perverted way. Then turns back and sheds a tear or two on their behalf. They're thrilled and never notice the perfidy.

Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.

Proof that the Dem's strategy has had some success. Throw enough mud, eventually some of it will stick.

I wonder what his poll numbers would look like if we eliminated 3 liberal states. If we dropped MA, NY, CA, methinks his approval numbers would be hovering around 55%!

This is going to be a fun election year.

I wonder if Catty Couric will report these results in her nightly knitting segment with Hilda.

Poor old Catty losing her butt in the ratings and C-BS taking it in the old kazoo with her poor showing.

Gos to prove that most liberals don't watch the news and essentially vote on emotions and not on facts.

LOL....the dems are besides themselves. Trouble is they will get more and more vile before election day. Dragging this country into their sewer. Pity.
