Was it even more popular than the one about shooting the president?
The Canadians should have burned the theater down as soon as that Bush assassination movie started to roll. If somebody came to my town to show a movie called "The Assassination of Prime Minister Harper," they would get a nasty reception.
Yeah, their whole problem came from FR going after the stations. That's why the country fans are rushing in droves to hear them in concert...oops, never mind.
"The Chicks' whole PR effort has been very calculated"
If anyone needs evidence of this they can look to the camera crew the chicks have hired to follow then around to catch it all on film....yes, even the night of the incidident itself. It has all been calculated. It just didnt play out like they had hoped.
"If they wanted to make a 1960's comment, they were born in the wrong era. It is not the Vietnam era. Disrespect for our President, while touring another country, and disrespect for our troops is not cool anymore. We are not going to put up with it anymore and there will be a price to be paid by anyone who does so."
I agree with you. Even when we had a slime bag in the White House people still respected the position of the President and were willing to uphold the law even if Bill Clinton himself did not respect either the law or his position as President.
The Dixie Chicks are going to have to move to Canada sooner or later. They have already been run out of Texas.
Im famous!

RE: This is interesting...
Free Republic has no credibility - just a bunch of right wing nuts who cut and past articles from their board on to others. We've all been exposed to their bs many times by CashCow(aka beansox and scores of other names). Just disregard anything they say.
