I copied pasted that sublime graphic and it came out different from what it is in your posting...what's up with that? Is it supposed to do that?

All the more reason to heed that "Christ fellow" who can stride the deep

Frankly, until I saw this article, I didn't know that she died. When I searched FR to see if anyone else had posted this article, there I saw a number of articles on her death posted -- but not this tribute, so I thought it a fitting memorial.

I know what you mean about the "Oh, no!". That's exactly what I felt when I saw this, even though I knew that she was dying of cancer.

She did her job in life, she warned us, the rest is up to us now!

It was posted to 42. I copied and pasted it and there is big difference in the way it looks on the graphic here and the way it turns out on my document. Strange...

<< We shall not look upon her like again.

Oh, yes we will, and we will honor her by doing so.

Here. >>

Amen to that!

We ARE her!

I, for only one, both thank God for her and promise to keep Oriana's memory and her fight alive, for as long as I may live.

BUMPping

That .gif is 272x200 I believe

To keep the size low for quick loading for the 56K dialup bunch

It is Version 3.0 of a "still" .jpg format graphic -
it has 5 frames - 3 are transitional frames

Version 2.0 is large WxH and is only 2 frames
- about 560X410 -

The image tag must include:

width="544" height="408" border="0">

Or say - 520x390

Play around with the parameters to get the size you like

Use center tags above the image

Photobucket or Imagecave have excellent free image
hosting sites that you can get an account at

I cut the physical size on the 5 frame version as it was about 950K

Slow loading for the 56K dialup bunch

I myself use a circa 2000 WebTV Plus unit
no longer manufactured - on 56K dialup

No graphics software or hard drive

I use online graphics toolsites and
a bit of magic to make it all work

You should get the book, "The Sayings of the Ayatollah." Very popular as humor in the early eighties.

I always liked, "A man should not use more than two rocks to wipe with."

Very nice. OK. Now I see the transitional features which did not come up when I saved it.

Thanks

Placing them each on clear gifs, come and go and then all together. Positioning would be the hard part but I have "onionskin"!!!

"I savored the salt of hope."

I won't be a bit surprised if I see her at the Wedding Supper.

O Shalom dear Princess Oriana, Valiant Salty Warrior of Hope and Truth and Light and Life!
