"Maybe someone could apologize to Judy Miller. Or Karl Rove. Or Dick Cheney. Or Scooter Libby. Maybe someone could teach prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald a lesson in professional ethics."
Gotta love it!
The MSM is not going to let their boy, Fitzpatty, let go of Libby. The Wilsons are press whores and happy go lucky plaintiffs. What a crapolla situation.
Fitzpatrick has done a dumb thing here. He can redeem himself by dropping the prosecution.
After the election Bush should pardon Libby and fire Fitzpatrick.
Has anyone in the MSM asked Schumer any questions on this topic?
He spent lots of time behind the podium with liar Wilson at his side!
A couple of butt buddies I suspect.
Wow! Excellent column, and nicely written.
(I had to scroll back up to check again that tjis was from the daily News.)
Sounds like a good idea.
You do know that Plame, Wilson, Armitage, Fitzgerald, or anyone spreading this story around as Gospel Truth will NEVER even be asked to apologize, let alone actually apologize or face any criminal or civil liability.
Whatever they did, it was all done in the service of trying to destroy a Republican administration.
They have nothing but a lifetime of six-figure book advances and generous lecture-circuit fees to look forward to. Unless the next Democratic President awards them the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
(( ping ))
This column is a well-written summary of the end of the Plame affair, at least in so far as it effects the Bush Administration. Incredibly, this nugget of honesty appeared in the Philadelphia Trotskyite News.
Check out the roots. Her "blonde" is purely bottled.
What Fitzy was noot simply dumb. it was a violation of his oath. We must demand a special prosecutor to examine violations of Federal law by a special prosecutor. He may be unindictable due to his vaunted position but he is not unimpeachable.
Excellent article. Very well written. Thanks for posting it.
Amen. And that says it all. There can be no lower calling.
This should become the text book for a journalistic ethics course. The media acted as an arm of the DNC here...some heads should roll.
