A Special Place in Hell
The Ameriucan Spectator ^ | Septembe 18, 2006 | Jeff Babbin

Greater self-love hath no man than to sacrifice a friend's life for his own. Our grateful nation awards the Medal of Honor to those few whose valor in combat is above and beyond the call of duty. But what is the polar opposite of the Medal? It is essential we decide, because Richard Armitage -- former Deputy Secretary of State -- has earned it for his uncommon treachery, beneath and beyond the call of knavery.

Begin with the fact that Armitage -- and his boss, Colin Powell -- were always outsiders. Powell, by his own discomfort with Bush's inner circle, was not part of it. But both were high-ranking members of the administration and owed it political loyalty.

Mike, being arrogant and egotistical and trying to cause a reaction is going to get you in a jam someday where you will be tested and fail miserably. Let it go.

MIke YOU STARTED WITH ME. I do not go around acting arrogant and egotistical, like yourself. In person I am very humble, yet I have no problem with knocking a battery off any man's shoulder if need be.

Mike it is not a threat. I live in Oregon and you in Ohio. Unlike you, I am not a keyboard tough guy that likes to stalk. Please let it go. I am from the old school and I can walk what I talk but I prefer to get along with those of the same mindset as mine politically and socially. You might be a good guy but there is no way for me to tell with you popping off on me. So let it go.

IMO, they are guilty of being traitors to the current administration, common decency, and honorable conduct, but they are not guilty of the legal definition of treason.

I agree with your post. That was more along my feeling when I posted my comments. Intentionally attempting to undermine an elected sitting administration during a time of war and allowing a criminal investigation to occur when the original offfender is already known, rates very high in my book.

Sometimes venting words can come out quickly when I type. Better to vent here than on my wife or kids whom deserve better.

Too true. I have sent off more than one missive only to regret it as soon as I hit post.

calling you out because you are lessening the impact of a word is stalking? Since when? LOL!!! Nice try at playing the victim card.

Please let it go.

I'll let it go when you do.

Whoop de frikin do. What was that about ME being arrogant? LOL

You might be a good guy but there is no way for me to tell with you popping off on me. So let it go.

Those that need to know, do. Those that don't matter, don't matter. Now you tell me, which group do YOU think you fit into? And as I said, I'll let it go when you do.
