Hero for what? The hero's are those that freed the pow's. He lost his airplane because he was a failure - he only got in due to his father and grandfather being actual military men and pulling strings for him.

This is the same man who as an incompetent pilot, earned the title "Ace" -- not for downing 5 enemy planes - but for being the pilot of 5 planes destroyed by his incompetence or "accident".
This is the same man who admitted violations of the Code of Conduct as a POW.
This is the same man who divorced the wife that stood by him, and fought for his release as a POW.
This is the same man whose 2nd wife was caught stealing drugs to support her habit.
This is the same man involved in the Keating Five corruption/scandal - accepting money to protect the one man most responsible for the Savings and Loan Bank failures, which the taxpayers had to bail out.
This is the same man who worked to "certify" Vietnam deserved to have trading sanctions lifted -- and insulted the POW/MIA families present at the Senate Hearings.
This is the same man who defends to this day - the actions and lies of John F'ing Kerry.
This is the same man presently more concerned with protecting the "rights" of terrorists - rather than the defense of the Republic.
This is the same man who told others to READ and PROTECT the Geneva Conventions when considering "torture" of terrorist detainees ---- where any reading of the Conventions will show that terrorist detainees are NOT ENTITLED TO ANY OF THE REQUIRMENTS of the Geneva Conventions.
This is the same man whose craving for power is totally unsupported by qualifications, history or character.

Any Party that gives this failed bastard the nomination - has cast me overboard....
