The United Nations: Land of Socialists, Despots and Final Warnings
Sierra Times ^ | 9/20/06 | Joanie Fischer

I saw/heard the president’s address to the U.N. on C-Span this morning. I also heard the speeches of Secretary General Annan, the President of the General Assembly (Al Khalifa), and the President of Brazil (Da Silva), all of whom preceded Bush.

It's not surprising that a Muslim is now the President of the General Assembly, since the U.N. is now entirely controlled by the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

Until now, I had never witnessed the proceedings on the floor of the U.N. for any length of time, and, despite my loathing of that body as the most prominent reason for the global spread of Marxism and the emboldening of terrorism, I still found myself incensed at what I saw and heard. I literally felt in need of a shower after turning off the television -- as if I had spent the morning in a toxic waste dump.

Other than making token and hypocritical reference to the value of freedom and excellence (both of which the villainous world body disdains), every speech leading up to the president's extolled the value of, and the pressing need for, the working people of the world to give up (at the point of a gun, if need be, although that remained unsaid) a large portion of the fruits of their labor for the 'disadvantaged' of the world.

That's it. That's what the U.N. of 2006 stands for -- redistribution of wealth and prosperity, at the point of a gun, if need be (and, it goes without saying, the destruction of the state of Israel, although that, too, remained unspoken).

I am not a fan of the president. But, as I saw and heard him speaking to that malevolent body, I became acutely aware of the fact that America's days are numbered. That the rest of the world is seeking to build a future that is in direct and violent contrast to the vision of America's Founders. And that our leadership in Washington either (1) hasn't a clue as to how to go about preserving the American vision against the vile madmen who see it as their destiny to annihilate it, or (2) prefers to indirectly ally themselves with the madmen.

I'm afraid we live in a violent, unjust world -- perhaps moreso than at any time in the history of mankind. And this morning when I saw and heard leaders of virtually every nation on the globe gathered together planning how best to foist upon what remains of the free world their often violent vision of the ultimate worldwide socialist utopia...and I heard the American president speaking to them as if his words had any hope of piercing their arrogant, powerful, self-serving armor...I became indescribably sad for us all. They haven't any use for us, other than to plunder from us the hard-won rewards of our two-plus centuries of historically unparallelled liberty-based prosperity...so as to use their ill-gotten gains to see their new-world agenda to its contemptible end. And (mark my word), barring a miracle, or a significant change in the resolve of the free world, they will.

Joanie Fischer is spot on on this one. The UN is a corrupt, agenda-driven impediment to peace. It is hardly a United Nations. I suggest it be renamed to the UAT (Us And Them)

The UN consists of about ten Constitutional Republics, two tyrannical party states which have power due to their size (Russia, China), and one hundred seventy some odd tinhorn dictatorships operated by self serving cabals of despots who lack the mental acumen to operate an ice cream truck.

Every once in a while another person wakes up and discovers truth.

I might add that the Democrats in the Congress have almost the same dream as the UN. Redistribution of wealth. Hillary even admitted it when she said she would take from the few to give to the many.

Did I just read something I didn't know? Koffi Anonymous is a Muslim? Is that an accurate statement?

'Disadvantaged' referring, of course, to those who refuse to work and instead spend their time putting out more children than the working people would even consider bringing into the world. The problem with social welfare (either in the U.S. or any other country) is that the dumbest and laziest among us are the ones who re-populate in large numbers so as to bring in "free" money for as long as possible. Eventually the fruits of the working man's labor won't be able to spread far enough to cover the world's deadbeats.

The author was referring to Al Khalifa, the President of the General Assembly.

Thanks for getting me straight. I wasn't sure to whom she was referring.

You got that right. We could easily add your paragraph to this article. I would fit right in with the premise.

yes. That place is a cesspool of commies, villains and socialists that aspire together to take over the powerful and successful. How it has ever been allowed to develop that way and be maintained in our own county nonetheless is beyond my comprehension. But it is here and it is what it is and nothing really seems to be changing.

So you said it yourself, a miracle needs to happen and this will happen if (in addition to expressing our opinion and demanding change) we should all pray for the end of the UN and and end to the validation and the providing of an 'honorable' forum for these thugs and villains.

We must do what we can to encourage this change in opinion and deed, but prolonged and pointed prayer, especially by a community has the power to change everything. Depend on it.

Perhaps it is just too much of this anti American rhetoric that has got me to the breaking point. I cannot stand to hear another of these contemptible, lying, manipulative, evil and murderous thugs( calling Bill Clinton )talking of the end of America. Their threats and visions of the future need to be repudiated by direct confrontation. They are only emboldened by our tepid silence.

I am impatient for some counter accusations on a scale that rivals the attention that these "Thugs International" seem to garner. America has a propaganda machine( Hollywood ) that is the envy of the world. Where are the motion pictures depicting these people for what they are. We had movies in the forties about the Nazi's and the Japanese, why not now?

I know, that as evidenced here at Free Republic that a lot of people recognize the threat this evil poses and are ready to do something about it. I would like to take up arms but practically and at this point there are definitely more effective ways. We need to remove this Thug cancer before it becomes more powerful.
