Bill says a million things can happen, but hes already launched Hillarys presidential campaign. Can he get her elected?
Suddenly Bill Clinton is everywhere, solving poverty, tackling AIDS, hosting Laura Bush, crafting the Democrats' message and deflecting questions about his wife's likely run for president. He doesn't know if he wants her to run, or if she'll run, and if she runs, he doesn't know that she'll win. A million things can happen, he said. But he does know one thing, that if she got elected, she would be a magnificent president, he told CNNs Larry King this week.
Clinton is a force of nature, the shade tree for Hillary as she ventures out of the senatorial cocoon to vie for the presidency. Shade is mostly a good thing, but not always, and the yin-yang role of the former president in his wife's political life is understood by both of them. Unlike Al Gore, Hillary is at ease with her husbands idiosyncrasies and has learned over a long marriage how to mitigate the damages.
As for Bill, he is her best strategist, with a fingertip feel for the electorate that is unrivaled.[snip]
If she doesnt run, or runs and loses, she is the natural heir to take over the legacy of Ted Kennedy, the liberal lion of the Senate. Untethered by presidential ambition, she could travel the world and do the Sunday shows, freed from parsing her words, confident she could keep her seat as long as she wants it. Its the deal or no dealdo you gamble on $6 million or walk away with $1 million, says Bennett. From her sinecure in the Senate, Hillary can take the gamble. Can Democrats?

Can he get her elected?
They don't intend to get her elected. 2000 was a dry run. They intend to steal the election.

Can he get her elected? If he can get Johnnie McCain to run as a candidate on the "Bull Moose" party ticket, he can get her elected.
There have been three (3) (III) Democrats to win a majority of the popular vote since the Civil War (FDR, LBJ and Carter).
All the other times the Demonrats managed to win, there has been a third party candidate splitting the vote.

It is obvious to me that Clinton's jovial attitude over the last few years was becaue he thought he could get Hillary elected and assume power through her election, gaining the spotlight once again.
All of a sudden, democrat prospects don't look so good, and no matter how hard he tries, Hillary isn't getting a lot of admirers.
He had counted on HIS charisma to propel her into the White House, but it seems that his glow has dimmed.
Panic has set in, and that accounts for the sudden appearance of Clinton on every channel. He thinks that he can still charm America into electing Hillary.
On every front, however, he is confronted by pesky questions. Did he let OBL escape? Was he AOL on the terror war? Is Hillary too pro-war? Or is she too left?
He can't handle this situation...hence the rage. I predict he will get even worse over the next two months.

Politically...It was a real stupid move on the part of the Dems to make NY her win. A Dem Minnie Mouse could have won in NY. They should have put her in a State that she could have taken away from the Republicans.
AND, she should have run as VP with Kerry in 2004. They would have won and I'm sure that Kerry would have had a disastrous accident while skiing during his Presidency.

A barfer for sure, but also a message. A message to anyone who gives a crap about the future of our country.
This is their gauntlet and he is their standard bearer. He is waving the "go" flag for every klintoon apologist, every lefty history revisionist, and every liberal maroon to launch their goofy, spin machines. It is the ultimate expression of Bush Derangement Syndrome (frankly I'm surprised that klintoon would have the attention span necessary to catch BSD) and we've known it was coming for a long time.
So what are we gonna do about it?
Hopefully put our internal ideological squabbles on the shelf (at least for a bit) and meet them head-on. The most effective offense against them is the truth. Offered up in huge doses. Use their words (and vids) against them. Beat them up with their own tripe. Expose their hypocrisy and their intrinsic cowardice.
Now would be good! ;'}

John McCain cannot pull a Perot. He doesn't have the money nor the organization. The he has such massive negatives especially after the last little bit of grandstanding with Republicans he cannot draw enough from the Republicans to be viable. Democrats will have their own hotly contested race to cross over in large numbers for him.
McCain is politically dead. Perot worked because he was self funded. In 1980 Anderson DID work as a spoiler because he could not raise the money. McCain would be Anderson Redux, not Perot.

They risk being disappointed, however, when McPain captures more Democrat votes than Republican votes...

Bill won with only 43% of thr vote. Either way, she is a win-win for the U.S. left- if she win's great- if she loses even better, because she's going to get Republicans across the spectrum to vote for a left-leaning candidate.
