Bill Clinton: ‘We Did Nothing Wrong’

Despite his impeachment, Gennifer Flowers, Whitewater and the other problems that have beset Bill Clinton’s political career, the former president still maintains he did nothing wrong.

During a wide-ranging interview with David Remnick of The New Yorker magazine – excerpted earlier on NewsMax.com – Clinton “started to talk about Whitewater, about Kenneth Starr, about how allowing the appointment of a special prosecutor had been ‘the worst decision’ of his presidency,” Remnick writes.

“He talked about old enemies in Arkansas, about the Resolution Trust Corporation, about Gennifer Flowers, about Susan Schmidt of the Washington Post.” Despite Clinton’s claims he is not looking back, “you could see just how deeply he still feels the attacks of the late ‘90s,” Remnick disclosed. He noted Clinton’s anger is palpable as his “carotid artery seemed to inflate like a jammed garden hose” as these topics were discussed.

But when asked if he thought it would be unbearable to go through all of it again if Hillary ran for president in 2008, Clinton replied: “I don’t care, because we know we did nothing wrong.”

Surprisingly some of Clinton’s closest supporters think he has more to blame than the so-called “Clinton haters.”

Remnick quoted one of Clinton’s closest aides, former Chief of Staff Leon Panetta, regarding Clinton’s state of denial:

“The method he uses to live with himself is to make a clear and precise argument that this was something that others had done to him and not that he had done to himself.

“Because of his brainpower, he can create a logic for anything.

“But deep down he would be such a good person if he could just accept the fact that he screwed up and made mistakes, and move on.”

Clinton is a thin skinned sissy who was afraid of the Hussein Regime, the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. And tonight we get to see Clinton cry like a little baby on Fox News.

You may be right. I also think it was that 'bad boy' thing.

Women seem to fall for that all to often.

They will never sell out each other. They have been through hell together and their sins bind them to each other.

Keep your fingers crossed--I hope it helps.

Just watched a Fox interview with Gorelick....and when asked about The Wall she had the *alls to say that it was put there by

ASHCROFT!

Then the interview went to none other than Togo to explain how Bush is causing more terrorist. Honest to ---, I had to turn off the tv to save my blood pressure.

The Clinton cabal are out in force to defend him.

A rather strong argument for repealing the 19th amendment.

"I believe it was something like 70% in 1992. It actually made me question if women were bright enough to have the right to vote."

Me too, and I am a woman!

Wht didn't Clintoon get that angry after the repeated attacks on us by Al Qaeda when he was President? It seems that DemonRat Liberals have more anger and hatred for President Bush than they have for our mortal enemies.

What he's trying to get across is that it's Bush's fault for his bad presidency from 1993-2001.

Take the title of this piece, drop the word "wrong" and put an exclamation point after "nothing", and we will have an accurate headline, if not an accurate Clintonian quote.

There was a reason that women were not allow to vote and it is shown to us every election. Code Pink is not run by men. The major groups the FR stands against in the streets are made up of women. Women without God just love socialism. I hate to be the person to point out truth but women make up the majority against guns, beer, capitalism, and men. Some of us are living with the enemy.

Bill Clinton: ‘We Did Nothing...."

There I fixed it. Well that is how the MSM would quote Bush.

You beat me to it. When Clinton took office we saw that the country was a in good shape and he didn't really have a mandate for change, so he kept his hand's off everything but the military budget. He know he would stand well by default rather than take risks with something new. The failure of Hillery Health Care proved that new ideas were a liability.

'What you do is goad Clinton and Hillary into a great big blowout.' #17

perhaps we should report in all the lefty polls that "we would vote for Hillary if she weren't attached to Bill"

then get out the pop-corn.

Not me either but if I had a wife that voted the other way, I would be quoting the FR everyday to her. I did that with my last wife. She hated it. I never let up.
