"Gun owners in LA County need to be prepared to expect these kinds of entry tactics and respond to commands from any officers if you are contacted. "

Respond? I remember how from G. Gordon Liddy.

This makes me ill. If the report is true it is fightening. I can not believe that Police officers and BATFE officers have rationalized their thugary. I would resign. I would go to the other side before I would do this to any citizen. It is shamful. It needs to be rectified by the USSC soon. There is no equal protection under the law for gun owners or for the 2nd amendment. I MOST other States what these guy have is NOT a CRIME of any sort. Sad.

We are asking everyone to review what you have in your gun safe or workshop. Take the time to find out what is against the law and what is not. Remember, our first reported incident was over a flash hider on an M-1A and some armor piercing projectiles. Don't let this happen to YOU.

A friend/subcontractor who lives near San Diego, sold his entire collection of AR's right after CA passed their draconian AW ban, because he could not tell what was and what was not, against the law. And he has a son who is a deputy sheriff!. Sad, just sad.

If only Californians would elect a Republican governor, things like this would never happen. What? Oh. Never mind...

If I put five ten-round magazines in a tool box, does their proximity constitute a "fifty-round ammunition feeding device"? My understanding of the chain ammo is that each chain holds precisely two rounds, no more. Other chains, each holding two rounds, may be held in proximity, but no chain holds more than two rounds.

Your vote does count. These recent shenanigans by California's DOJ, do not reflect a slippery slope but a free fall.

Anyone reading this reply who is planning to vote for either Angelides or the Austrian in November has only themselves to blame. A vote for Poochigian may not correct the problem but a vote for Moonbeam is certain death for constitutional protections.

Your vote counts. Don't waste it.

This is exactly why I moved out of my house in San Diego, CA and relocated to Pocatello, ID. The commies in Sacramento are passing endless anti-gun laws. Even if you never buy another firearm, the anti-gun laws are going to catch up to whatever you already have in your possession. They don't give a damn about ex post facto laws. The only thing that is important is to trip you up, make you a felon and confiscate all your firearms.

One of my co-workers sawed his new Saiga AK-47 receiver in half on Dec 31, 2000 because he had not registered it in time and couldn't afford to lose his TS clearance. It even had the CA legal 10-round magazine. I would have paid him his purchase price and carted it to my new home in Idaho if I had known his intentions ahead of time. I moved into the new house Dec 19, 2000. Too bad.

Too late. The illegals will keep voting for the anti-gun people because they are the same people handing out taxpayer funded goodies to illegal aliens. They will never allow the voter rolls to be purged of their illegal enablers.

This is really all for the good. Gun owners will "entrench" and find ways to become un-noticed. It's the American way. Paul Revere is laughing.

I know two brothers in Mendocino County, CA who get together on the anniversary of their father's death every year and recite the GPS coordinates of where they have his things buried and take a shot of Jack Daniels in his honor.

This year one of their sons turned 13 and it was decided that he should attend the ceremony.

It all sounds like the Second Amendment equivalent of something out of Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451". California gun laws have become utterly fascistic and I don't see a thing we can do about it given the courts.
