And this is a bad thing, because?
Any way we get them.
Why libs want to waste tears on illegal combatants -- pirates and filibusters -- is beyond me.
I don't think we could ever trust Pakistan unless we had a loaded gun pointing at them, with no chance for escape.
It seems pretty obvious that Pakistan has been an unwilling "ally" in the War on Terror, but considering the population I'm not sure we could expect much more without removing Mushy from power, and installing a US-approved leader. Bush should be credited for playing hardball with Pakistan and getting them to cooperate as much as they have IMHO.

Same with you Ivan
I don't trust Pakstein AT ALL
The President outlines the role played by a former London public schoolboy, Omar Sheikh, in the kidnap and murder of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter, in February 2002.
General Musharraf says that Sheikh, who orchestrated the abduction, was recruited by MI6 while he was studying at the London School of Economics and sent to the Balkans to take part in jihad operations there. He alleges that Sheikh later double-crossed British intelligence. At some point he probably became a rogue or double agent, General Musharraf says.
Some how I trust Musharraf on this one.
