IOW, she gets no sentence at all (and will probably not be monitored while under 'house arrest'.

The state's chief witness in the lacrosse case gets yet another incredible break from the DA. . .

Has she performed for Nifong?

Maybe some kind of 'performance' was involved with Nifong? Talk about a slap on the wrist. So, IOW, high profile minority females are exempt from laws being enforced?? She'd be back behind bars if Nifong's career wasn't on the line.

She's still under probation, so for the next two months she has to do as Nifong wants--otherwise, it's the slammer.

So why the preferential treatment? That's my question. Any other person would already be behind bars for all those violations. Nifong is really using this girl for his own reasons IMHO. I figure the black community will raise teetotal hell if she was to wind up in jail before this case is tried, dropped, or totally forgotten about. Nifong knows it as well as the judge.
