The last intervention in public affairs Ted Turner made was a month or two back, when he recounted what an agreeable vacation he had in Kim Jong-il's North Korea. (I sent him a postcard saying, "Wish you were still there.") He's now weighed in on the ayatollahs and his line's pretty straightforward: Why shouldn't Iran have nukes? "They're a sovereign state," he said. "We have 28,000. Why can't they have 10? We don't say anything about Israel -- they've got 100 of them approximately -- or India or Pakistan or Russia. And really, nobody should have them. They aren't usable by any sane person."

Well, I guess he just answered his own question, if he would think about it for a minute.
***We have 28,000. Why can't they have 10?***
Ted Turner must be on a respirator.
Anybody too stupid to see why Almondjoy shouldnt have Nukes is too stupid to breathe on his own.
Would Ted let Ahmadinnerjacket have a nuke? Sure! Why not? Take 10!
Well said. Mark nails another one and it was fun to read. However depressing the situation is becoming. What's a body to do. The left will excoriate Bush if he bombs Iran. That may be the only option.
I am with the beloved Steyn. So few people in this world get it.
Can you IMAGINE the gall of Achmadinejad to DARE say to a survivor of Dachau that he must be lying?? Sorry, this hits too close to home. My Dad is also a Holocaust survivor. WHY DON'T PEOPLE GET IT? Nutjob is pulling a sticky page from the Clinton playbook. He is rewriting history by NUMBING the world to his evils.
And this cuddling up to ANYONE who hates George Bush is like swimming over a stingray. One of these days, we're going to get it right in the heart.
What can you say about someone who is/was married to J. Fonda?
