CALLING ALL INFIDELS!

Savage has lost his mind - one day he applauds the Bush Admin for fighting the good fight, then the very next day he's screaming that Bush and his cronies are idiots losing this war. Which one is it, Michael?

He's totally inconsistent and impossible to listen to, which is too bad, because he can bring up some pretty good points.

I just loved the segment yesterday on biblical phrases and literary titles tying back to Shakespeare. Wish Mike coulda done it all three hours.

I think his main problem is that by and by, he stabs his OWN FRIENDS in the back.

And the funny thing is, he's exquisitely sensitive to OTHERS doing just that to him...! Even when they manifestly have not.

I used to feel for Michael when he'd decry the treachery of the UC Berkeley academic left, because I'd suffered so much of it myself.

Now what do I feel? NOTHING.

More importantly, I don't listen.

I assume you haven't been listening for the past several weeks, cause it has been a while since I've heard Savage commend President Bush for the war in Iraq. Not the war itself, but how it has been conducted.

Yeah, that was pretty interesting. I was unable to listen to all of the show last night, so were the callers able to name at least ten literary references?

What Michael has been saying is more or less that although we carried out a brilliant campaign to "conquer Iraq" and capture Saddam, our followup has been abysmal. We lack common sense in connection with using our technology to ensure minimal casualties. Where is the use of the MOAB? Why did we not cordon off the Sunni Triangle, drop leaflets, and then carpet bomb that miserable hell hole when USA contractors were murdered and their charred bodies dragged through the streets? Why are we using the word of the enemy to persecute our own (Pendleton 8 & others)?

IMO, the war would be over if we had decisively gone in there. It seems that the enemy is willing to die for their cause, but we are not willing to respond in equal measure. We are making the same political mistakes that we made in Vietnam where we let the leftists in this country take over and wave the white flag, giving victory to the Communists. The MSM says little about its responsibility for Pol Pot and the killing fields; they just continue with their steady drum beat to destroy America.

Savage claiming the Chris Wallace/Bill Klintoon interview was staged. Bit of a stretch there, Michael.

I watched and re-watched it 3x, and it sure didn't look staged. Bubba Jeffy was *genuinely* PO'd that someone called him on his pseudo-legacy, a lie in progress, and when that finger gets to waggin', he's a lyin'.

Savage claiming the Chris Wallace/Bill Klintoon interview was staged. Bit of a stretch there, Michael.

Agreed! Won't hear him address the issue of Clinton's off camera issue with his aides either which may or may not prove it was not staged..........

As a side note, Savage claims he is being slammed daily by the Leprechaun (Is that O'reilly or Hannity?). If he is referring to their tv programs, I have never ever even heard his name mentioned............

I do not know whether it is the government-media complex that seems to be black-listing Savage, or that the media is controlled by a very small group of people. These folks have funding by the likes of Soros, rich muslims, and other leftists. The Government avoids him because he says what he thinks and they cannot take it. To them Mike is a baby with a gun.

i think it was staged, but that doesn't mean he wasn't angry, i think he said to himself, i am gonna let 'em have it (before hand). just saying he had already calculated the pros and cons of doing it, and went with it. he knew when he took the interview what would be asked, after the abc/9-11 thing ,he knew it would be asked.

He was referring to Chris' father, Mike Wallachinsky, who flung a plate of take-out meatloaf at a cabbie in NYC, years ago, and was let-off by the NYPD. It's part of a segment he did years ago, and has repeated often. Listen to the archives for today's show comment. I spit my screwdriver mouthful into the sink (was adding ice cubes from the 'fridge). LOL!

Today is "rawther" borrrrrring! Tired of hearing the fellow brag about how great his show is, and continue to tear down our President, who is doing admirably considering what he has been up against. Prayers needed for W.

I occasionally listen to O'Reilly, and I've heard him (vaguely) speak of Savage. He'll never refer to Savage by name, but you can usually tell when he's talking about him. IMO, Savage should lay off talking about the other talk show hosts and concentrate on the events of the day. That's why we listen, after all.

Staged, as in how? Collusion between FNC, Wallace, Klintoon, his COS, staff etc? Conspiracy to commit news or journalism?

I'm having real trouble with that scenario, RB... Pls fill me in, as best you can, as to the (perceived) motives.

Staged by Clinton; he planned it for months, and waited for his opportunity, he certainly wouldn't have done that on NPR, or Larry King, et. al.

Remember, he still has hidden rage from ruining his presidency: he's a failure , and he knows it.
