These people are evil, plain and simple. I would not only like to see funding cut off, I would like to see this group totally disbanded.

As soon as they break the law, then I would agree. But writing legislation specifically aimed at odious groups gives the Libs the ability to write legislation aimed at groups they find odious. And you know what those will be.

If the ACLU is violating the law, shut them down on that basis. But politically-minded legislation is a bad idea in principle because it gives the state too much power. Using the weight of our majority against opposing groups is not a conservative tactic, because it only feeds the Fed monster.

The ACLU would still be able to sue, they just would have to find another way to PAY for it.

What are you smoking? You do realize, don't you, that all this bill does is slow the flow of tax dollars to this organization. The bill isn't "anti" anything. You sound like one of those people who wonders how the government "is going to pay for tax cuts".
