ACLU sues Wilson County over alleged religious practices

In my own words - the plantiffs are alledging a Christmas play, praying parents, national prayer day and teacher-led prayer in a public school have traumatized their child and they need attorneys’ fees and compensatory or nominal damages to get over it. The plantiffs are not named in the suit for fear they will be attacked and ostracized.

If they win their case, would that set a precedent for ALL homeschoolers to be subsidized by the district? That would be awesome...

"ACLU-TN executive director Hedy Weinberg said in a news release.

I can't say this with 100% certainty, but I believe I read just the other day that she is PeeWee Herman's sister. Wouldn't surprise me.

Lack of separation of church&state seems to lead to Islamic notions of Sharia law or Vatican notions of Canon law.

US Constitutional law trumps both.
