BS. HCA's are formed naturally by cooking meat at high temperature. But this article would have you believe that The Evil Fast Food Restaurants are 'us[ing]' HCA additives.
Obviously, the longer the meat cooks, the more HCA's that are formed. Ordering a steak well-done is 'supersizing' your HCA portion.
They won't be satisfied until everyone has to live on carrots and beans. I happen to like "high fat" fried chicken, and it's my F'n life, and I'm not gonna live forever anyway. I should be able to eat whatever I please, thank you very much.

One of the first scares I remember was the ALAR in apples scare, then nitrosamines in bacon. Doctors can't seem to make up their minds about caffiene in coffee - that one bounced back an forth more times than a ten minute tennis volley. Most of these researchers have to find something to bleat about to justify their phoney-balonie jobs.

IIRC, only about 20% of PCRM members have a doctor's license. The PCRM is nothing more than a radical vegan group associated with fellow radical vegan group PETA.
