I'd be embarrashed to admitt such a thing. I wonder if the ones your friend killed could have cured cancer? Why? I didn't do it. Would you shun these women? Have them burned at the stake?

During the last six years, the Republicans with the support of President Bush:
- Banned Partial Birth Abortion
- Reversed Clinton's move to strike Reagan's anti-abortion Mexico Policy
- Stopped foreign aid that would be used to fund abortions.
- Supported and upheld the ban on abortions at military hospitals
- Signed E.O. reversing Clinton's policy of not requiring parental consent for abortions under the Medical Privacy Act
- Confirmed two USSC judges, and many Appeals and Circuit Court judges, whose judicial philosophy will tend to view matters like abortion as being better decided by the states.
You may not like that the process is glacial, but there is movement in the RIGHT direction now, unlike the direction of the previous many, many years.

It was true in the distant past as well, when actresses were meatier. Hollywood had their people who managed all the abortions, etc. I do not want to name names from memory, but there were a number of very famous women who could not have a baby when they finally wanted one. Previous abortions were mentioned in the news articles as the reason why.

Ah, the old "Christians as Inquisitors" accusation.Ah, the old "avoid answering by attacking" ploy.
What would you do about women you know that had abortions? Avoid them? Hate them? What?
If you had any guts you would simply answer the question.

Ha! I wasn't the one you addressed the question to in the first place, so answering the question/not answering it wasn't a matter of "guts." If you really desire the answer, I personally would encourage them to seek healing/counseling if they haven't done so already, since post-abortive trauma is a real thing. At the same time, when I sense they are ready, but without much delay, I would tell them they need to ask for God's forgiveness.
The lack of emotional support for women in unexpected pregnancies is a leading contributing factor for the decision to abort.

Another thing: I checked out your profile. Illegal immigration seems to be your top issue. Your tagline supports my guess. If Americans weren't so decadent and contracepting and aborting, there would be less of a need for these illegals.

Pretty much everyone knows someone who has had an abortion; they may simply not be aware of it. With (what's the estimate?) 48 million or so of them in the last thirty-plus years, that's a pretty high incidence in the population. It just makes some people uncomfortable to acknowledge that these aren't convenient "monsters", they are neighbors, family members, your secretary, the girl you joke with in the checkout line at the supermarket.

Would you shun these women? Have them burned at the stake? Would you celebrate a murderer in other manners? Turn the other cheek, let let them kill a few more without moral accountability. I love the turn the other cheek crowd, would they tell their daughter to give a rapist another turn. Perhaps sued people should give double the judgement against them.
Perhaps we should just forgive the taliban for murder.
Or we could demand rightous justice... or is that wrong? Hummm.. perhaps we should call evil good, or would that be judgement also.

How do you know they haven't? Not one them brags about it or tells others. It's very personal as is their relationship with God.
To condemn them, as others would, is just as grievous a sin.

It's hard for some people to see outside the lines of their rigidity and seek the "Christ in their fellow humans".

You are partially correct. It's sinful, but I would say it's not as sinful as a murder.

Thanks. It's hard for some people to see outside the lines of their rigidity and seek the "Christ in their fellow humans".Get your mind out of your stereotype. Sure, there are Christians who are steeped in "rigidity," as you put it, but there are plenty of others who run crisis pregnancy centers and post-abortion counseling groups, and help fund such.

Whew! Remind me not to invite you over to my house. Get a grip. Where's your Christian charity? Under the 10 commandment is where Christians should put to death a child that does not obey his parents... What does Jesus say about this... just how nice do you think He was on his commandments on this very exact subject???
Today's Christians are too nice compared to Jesus and it has cost us souls.

" It's hard for some people to see outside the lines of their rigidity and seek the "Christ in their fellow humans""
Notice the word "some"? It's what I meant. You attempt to paint me as stereotyping.
Notice the irony?
