In an e-mail message sent this week to his own supporters, Clark, who is said to be considering another run for the White House in 2008, lauded the Greenwich cable company executive for "running the type of campaign all Democrats can be proud of."
"Standing up to President Bush's failed policy in Iraq, dispensing with self-serving and wishy-washy notions of 'independence,' and pledging to invest in America's future, Ned Lamont is a candidate for Senate who I am proud to endorse," he wrote.
Clark also took a swipe at Lieberman, now running as an independent, saying the senator had "decided to do his best to drag down every Connecticut Democrat's electoral prospects down with him" after "refusing to abide by the results" of the party primary in August.
"He continues to provide political cover to President Bush and other local Republicans despite their clearly failed policies," Clark added.

To the average patriot, Wesley Clark's endorsement would be an embarrassment.

Is Wesley happy? He certainly seems unlikely to be POTUS.

CLARK COVER-BOY FOR GAY MAGAZINE
There is nothing the general wouldnt do to pander for votes.
We dont know if his good-looking, Hollywood screenwriter son set up the deal, but Clark appeared as a cover boy on the national gay magazine, The Advocate. And this was no pose in uniform with his medals. Wes tried to ape Marlon Brando, wearing a black jacket, open to a white tee-shirt. Maybe he set a few homosexual hearts aflutter, but his supporters in Oklahoma and the Bible Belt would have blanched to see their candidate in such a venue.

And this . . .
The two sides in the political battle over the Iraq war will square off again this weekend in Cambria County with competing rallies for and against U.S. Rep. John Murtha, who is seeking re-election.
Veterans for Murtha will hold a rally at 11 a.m. Saturday in Central Park in Johnstown, with former U.S. Sen. Max Cleland and retired Gen. Wesley Clark as keynote speakers.
Veterans for the Truth will hold an anti-Murtha rally Sunday at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, featuring speaker David Beamer, the father of Todd Beamer, who led a passenger revolt on United Flight 93 before it crashed in Shanksville, Somerset County, after it was hijacked on 9/11.

I also happened upon this about Wes Clark. Forgot about it until the Rats started trying to make an issue about it with George Allen. Look at the similarities---

Supposedly Wesley Clark, Jr is a screenwriter in Hollywood. He exaggerated his Hollywood credentials (he apparently worked briefly with Danny DeVitos production company) to get a lucrative contract from the Bosnian government to make an epic film about the siege of Sarajevo.
