I am not aware of problems with Puerto Rico, I have never met anyone from Puerto Rico where I live. If you think there is a problem with the current status of Puerto Rico then you need to address that to politicians and ask for change.
I just don't see a connection to the border issues and Puerto Rico.

I was responding to your complaint that we have people coming here that only want American citizenship for the benefits they receive.
My comment is they all want to do what the whole population of Puerto Rico has been doing for over 100 years.
What do you find so difficult to understand about that?
