His name is VITAS. He is a Latvian-born Russian singer, with classical training, very popular in Russia and China. His official fan page: http://vitas.com.ru/.

Russian pop-star Vitas performed on the Beijing stage pleasing the Chinese fans with his singing on June, 8th for the first time. The voice-riddle of the singer shook the audience and caused a storm of applause. Participating in shooting a popular TV show in China, namely TV competition on the best knowledge of Russia it is devoted to the Year of Russia in China, Vitas performed 2 songs. Handsome, harmonous, in a space violet and silvery suit, reminding characters of fantastic films, he sang 2 songs - "Star" and «Opera-2» - about person's yearning for the sky and the distant worlds. His charming smile, mysterious eye blinking and vocal skills made a deep impression on the audience . After the performance of the singer some spectators who had gathered in the TV studio rushed to backstage to ask of the autograph of the pop-singer. Broadcast is planned for the end of the month. According to the forecast of organizers of the TV competition, it will be watched by about 100 million spectators.

I liked it except for the shrieking part, the rest was great, gay, but great. BTW, I think he is really a she.
