WaPo Shocker: Huge Difference in Handling of Democrat and Republican Sex Scandals
Newsbusters/Washington Post ^ | October 3, 2006 | Noel Sheppard

When I first saw this article this morning, I asked my daughter to pinch me. But, it was still there. I then asked her to slap me. No change. Finally, smelling salts. Alas, it was still on my computer screen, and from the Washington Post no less: “The Redder They Are, The Harder They Fall; Republicans More Damaged by Scandals.”

It's kind of a 'statement of the obvious'. . .what is actually a scandal for the Blues. . .is not; for the 'value impaired'. So why would the 'same degree of scandal' impact them; as it would the Party where 'values' is a word and has meaning.

Unless, of course. . .the 'scandal' involves a 'Red'. . .and the 'Blues' can play it to their advanatage.

Reminds me of the shocker that Bush WOT has increased. . .oddly enough. . .more terrorists.

Whereas; has we just appeased them; they would not need so many to fight their 'offensive'. . .

Of course, the 'Blues' play this a little differently as well.

The problem is that too many politicians get to thinking they'll get a 'pass' like a Kennedy or a Clinton. The truth is they won't, especially if they're Republicans. The double standard will continue to encourage liberals to perversion and corruption while only policing those who don't support political correctness. The sooner the Republicans accept that reality the better.

Let every American know, regardless of his or her wishes, that we shall pay any price, impose any burden, force any hardship (upon you), support any enemy, oppose any friend to assure the survival and the success of socialism.

Here in Mobile the Press-Register has a column every morning called "Sound Off"....yesterday some idiot called in talking about the GOP's values.....I called in (and it got printed today)...this is what I said: To the person who called in about Mark Foley exhibiting Republican values. When a Republican is caught doing something wrong, he resigns. When a Democrat is caught doing something wrong, he becomes a hero."

Probably shouldn't use "Foley," "Seat" and "Cracks" in the same sentence.

Yup. There are two sets of rules in this country. One for the Demonrats and one for the Pubbies. Pubbies get away with nothing. Clinton got away with almost everything. The press decides. They're the kangaroo court.
