If there is a dirty trick out there the Dems have it and they know how to use it.
Didn't now Rush had said that, and was about to post the same thing. Now I feel smart.
Lets just get one thing straight.
Is Washington DC full of drunks?
When it comes to Capitol Hill the answer is yes. Drunks, Dopers, whoremongers, thieves, Bribery takers, and lying sacks of shit.
But wait , that isnt Washingtons fault. You people sent them there. they came from your States.
Whether you sent them here just to get rid of them or sent them here to steal for you, or thought you were sending honest people , patriots, to govern our country doesnt really matter. You sent them. It isnt the fault of Washington DC. They have enough problems without being blamed for the sorry politicians the states sent over.
The difference is -- the Bush campaign knew the DUI thing was coming and it was profoundly dumb of them not to address it earlier. W could have brought up in his "Oprah" moment and it would have been no big deal. The thing with Foley is a much bigger deal. And I really do think the GOP had no clue this was coming. Foley is not only ill -- he was selfish and stupid to allow this to have such an impact on the national scene.
I agree, the Dems are just getting warmed up. It's going to be a long and icky month. :-/
But will it drive me to vote Dem? Um, I don't think so! LOL
