Probably ;) I just hate religious stereotyping . There is no major Christian church that teaches that orgasms are sinful. Heck, I don't even think the muslims believe that! You just seem to be describing a character you saw in a movie one time.
If you want to see cold, soulless women who are afraid of their own orgasms, check no further than the Womyns Studies department at your local university.

For some reason I'm reminded of this story...
A man walks onto an airplane and takes his seat. He looks up and notices the most beautiful woman he has ever seen boarding the plane. He is nervous, and soon realizes that she is walking down the aisle toward him. When she takes the seat right next to him, he is anxious to begin a conversation. He asks, "Where are you flying to today?"

I didn't say Churches teach orgasms are sinful, but alot of Christian parents give that impression.
Nowadays it isn't as prevelant, but 30 years ago it was.
