Muslims are waging civil war against us, claims police union
Radical Muslims in France's housing estates are waging an undeclared "intifada" against the police, with violent clashes injuring an average of 14 officers each day.
As the interior ministry said that nearly 2,500 officers had been wounded this year, a police union declared that its members were "in a state of civil war" with Muslims in the most depressed "banlieue" estates which are heavily populated by unemployed youths of north African origin.
It said the situation was so grave that it had asked the government to provide police with armoured cars to protect officers in the estates, which are becoming no-go zones.

It's time for France to get the old cattle cars out of mothballs and, when they pick up these scum at future riots, pack them on board and send them trundling to some southern port where they can be loaded onto freighters for a one way destination to Somalia or any other Islamic sinkhole where they can rot and plot.

France's underlying nationalism will soon rise up and overthrow the socialist government (hardly a new thought in France). Soon after that, a lot of North African's are going to be looking for a new home.

Correction: France's underlying stupidity will lead it to open warfare in the streets between Islamic thugs and the average Frenchie. It is only a matter of time until the whole situation goes out of control.

So, France, get off your asses and protect yourselves. Don't expect US to come save your butts again, not after these last 5 years.

There was a French Captain who made a name for himself some years ago putting down civil unrest in France. He used cannons. It was good for his career in the short run until the British put him Elba.

The ACLU and other community-based insurgents have been doing the same to our cops, troops and intelligence services for years. They are preparing the ground for the coming troubles.
Remember how long it took the LAPD to intervene in the Rodney King riots. They had been effectively neutralized.

Given that France is a multicultural socialist utopia, perhaps they should cede a little territory to the Muslims, name it Francostan, and let them implement their own Shira law to protect the police of France, and make them feel good about themselves.

Didn't Carlyle say something about Bonaparte using a "whiff of grapeshot" to bring the Parisian mob to its senses.
Actually, Napoleon opened up with grapeshot on the mob and then had his cavalry ride down and sabre those running away. Altogether he killed over a thousand. That ended mob rule in France during his time.
Somehow, I don't think Nicolas Sarkozy is a modern-day Napoleon.

That would be the right direction for France. They should talk to the ghost of Neville Chamberlain before they take such action. It is the result of diversity is perversity.

France really only has 2 options at this point: surrender (most likely) or clean house. I expect they will surrender. I hope not, but they have a track record.
When this starts happening here (and it will) which option will we choose?

Mr Demarcq said that the increased attacks on officers were proof that the policy of "retaking territory" from criminal gangs was working. I'm still trying to understand the logic behind this quote.

maybe the French can get 'hitlery' to come across the pond to talk to Neville Chamberlain's ghost, since 'hitlery' was known on occasion to talk with Eleanor Roosevelt's ghost, per 'hitlery'

Good idea. After all, that's what we did with the Vikings one thousand years ago. Now it's called Normandy.

I do not profess any great depth of knowledge in French politics but a little research brought up these points. The French Senate are not popularly elected. Reference this Wickedpedia article.
Until September 2004, the French Senate had 321 senators who were elected for a 9-year term. After this date, the term was reduced to 6 years while the number of senators will progressively increase to 346 in 2010 to reflect changes in French demographics.
Senators are elected indirectly by approximately 150,000 local elected officials ("grands électeurs"), including mayors, city councillors, and deputies of the National Assembly. This system introduces a bias in the composition of the Senate, which favors rural areas. As a consequence, while the political majority changes frequently in the National Assembly, the Senate has remained conservative since the foundation of the Fifth Republic, and it is expected that it will remain so in the forthcoming years.

Yes, it's the London Telegraph. When the youths are in England, they're "Asians." When they're in France, they're "Muslims." Western Europe is...well, western Europe.
