Latest Lefty Foley Conspiracy Overheard
Class | Oct 5,2006 | ME

In history class today we were talking about the debauchery of Rome and my teacher brought up the Foley scandal. Some banter went back and forth amongst the class and this one guy says he heard on the news(AirAmerica?) that Foley gave the RNC $100,000 from his campaign and that it was hush money so he could save his job, lol.

Foley returned $100,000 from his campaign coffers to the RNC after he resigned, as he was no longer running for re-election.

Pretty standard thing to do.

Oh, yeah. I'm sure if AirAmerica said it, it must be true!
Foley may have turned over his campaign funds to the RNC, for use by his replacement candidate but not as hush money.

As opposed to the $100,000 job that Bill Clinton's buddies gave Monica Lewinsky to shut the hell up and lie under oath?

Air America. That was the criminal enterprise that stole federal tax dollars from a Boys & Girls Club charity to postpone bankruptcy.

Who's doing jail time over that misappropriation of tax dollars? I heard they are "giving the money back". Doesn't cut it. Enron had embezzlers too.

I say we look at the FCC licenses of ABC affiliates. Should've gone after CBS affiliates.

This Zogbyism during campaigns has got to end. DNC coordination with media mouthpieces.

So even if Foley "gave" the RNC at hundred bills to shut up and keep his job, that doesn't sound too bad compared to what Clinton and the 'Rats did to people they wanted to hush up. Hell, they sent goon squads out to terrorize Kathleen Willey into keeping quiet, just to mention one. Hillary got the FBI to go after Billy Dale in a preemptive strike to make sure he didn't rock the boat too much. Clinton set the Secret Service on that one Chicago couple who had the nerve to say to Clinton that he sucked for leaving those guys in Mogadishu in a wringer. When it comes to clubbing down the opposition, the 'Rats do it in spades. They make Foley's purported hush money look like a piece of fluff by comparison.

Republicans give money to Republicans all the time. Somebody just gave a quarter million to the RNC the other day.

Oh yeah, Dems do it too.
