Did I miss something?

The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation has given no reason for its assessment and yesterday declined to answer questions on the case.
Who writes this crap? No government is obligated to "give explanations" for its national security actions to any nutcase group that demands one. In free society, that can change by the democratic process; or not.

Not only will Australia not accept Sagar as a refugee, the ruling acts as a deterrent to any other nation throwing open its doors.
Well, then, that is an entirely different problem, isn't it?
Why aren't "all other nations" assumed to have their own standards for what are deemed "national" security issues without attempting inferences that Australia does, or should make that decision for them?

Only irrational, self-styled "human rights" neurotic moonbats employ that logic.

blam, no offense, but your keywords are weird. They're supposed to be themes of the article, not bits of the headline.

Maybe "Nauru", "Australia", "Sagar", "Immigration". Something like that. Keywords are what some people use to find articles related to a particular issue. Nobody is going to search for this article using "8M" as a keyword.

"They can't go back to Iraq, they can't go to any other country, they can't appeal the security assessment, and they can't even find out what it's about. I think that would drive anybody crazy."

Well, if all it takes is to make a statement to make somethng true, I can play that game...

...He can't stay in Australia.

Next cosmic problem...

Ok... so he's lonely. I know how to resolve this.

Let's send the other 1.5 billion of his mates to join him.

Definitely a win-win, the way I see it. :-)

I just noticed something.

Since this article was written in "The Telegraph UK" and as this article suggests Nauru to be a British Colony (even an ex one!), perhaps, the UK would be kind enough to take to give this refugee man a home rather than harp about it.
