At least 2 dead in Gaza tunnel blast

Palestinian sources say explosion collapses tunnel under Gaza-Egypt border early trapping five al-Aqsa members inside

Palestinian sources said an explosion collapsed a tunnel under the Gaza-Egypt border early Friday, trapping five militants inside and killing at least two.

The Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, a violent offshoot of the Fatah movement of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said the five were members. The group refused to say what they were doing.

The militant group said the explosion was not caused by an Israeli air strike, after first blaming Israel. The Israeli military said it had no forces inside Gaza and denied involvement in the incident.

Israel often attacks tunnels under the border, saying they are used for smuggling weapons and explosives into Gaza.

Three weeks ago the IDF attacked the home of a Hamas member in Rafah, under which a tunnel was dug to smuggle weapons. After the attack, a number of follow-up explosions were heard, backing the IDF's claim on the existence of many weapons in the area.

The weapons-smuggling tunnels are being dug up as part of ongoing efforts to collect arms ahead of a possible all-out clash between the various factions and a possible conflict with Israel.

It's Ramadan, they were jacking each other off. That's very naughty.

Wow. Exploding tunnels. That happens all the time when people are crawling through with innocuous items like groceries...

Yuval Diskin, head of Israel’s General Security Service (9/2006)
"[15 tons of explosives crossed Philadelphi to Gaza from August 2005 to August 2006 including]
four tons of standard explosives, hundreds of rifles, thousand of bullets
and other kinds of weaponry and munitions that I don't want to detail have been smuggled from Egypt.”

Meanwhile SOS Rice is pressuring Israel to loosen its blockade of West Bank and Gaza crossings, known conduits for terrorists and weapons.

trapping five al-Aqsa members inside
Set up some nearby underground speakers and blast them with the disco version of Modanna's "Like a Virgin". At high volume.

Sorry, I didn't read all the posts first to see you had already made the OSHA reference.
