Further unraveling of the Foley case (Pelosi alert!)

Early this morning on JOM we went through the cached page blog and noticed something interesting. The cached pages we examined indicate that the mother of one of the pages, Robin Katsoros, mother of Christopher Katsoros a former Pelosi page, told the pages she was working on a screen production of the lives of pages. And she gathered information from them. She is a Conyers and Kerry supporter and he is a student at Georgetown now. It looks like the kids were trying to “sex” up their experiences to get her interested. Here are some bits of it. JOM has information on how we worked this out.

Cue Google Input: Over on the July 19, 2005 Randi Rhodes message board there’s this:

Hi. Randi, Ambassador Joe Wilson and Cong John Conyers are all participating in house parties on Saturday to talk about Downing Street and Rovegate. You can find a link to attend or host one of the house parties on therandirhodesshow.com.

Update: This is one poor job of hacking emails. Another problem. Note the “subject” line in the emails from Folely. They say “email 2″ and “email 3″, etc. No email program would do that with a subject line. And Folely definitely wouldn’t do that (who thinks these are consecutive?). These are so doctored up it is ridiculous. The look overly faxed again, like someone deliberately aged them - even though emails from 2003 can be printed pristine anytime. This makes me question the custody of the information. The first email printed 10/17/06 looks to have been Faxed once. The Folely emails printed 9/13/06 look to be copies one or two cycles old (depending on the copy machine) and later faxed. That means a different custody chain.

That is what I am strongly suspicious of....... my hunch is that Pelosi had early knowledge of this and very well may have seen the seamy IMs long before anyone on the Republican side ever did..... if not Pelosi then other 'Rats associated with the CREW types, but I'm suspecting Pelosi herself is up to her scrawny neck in this muck...........

I explained to Admin Mod and they deleted it. I know it might not be anything, cause it's 2 pages talking about someone else (a roomate), but it just seemed iffy, legally to me. I wish I hadn't seen it.

My own impression is that there is now so much doubt about how many, if any, of these messages were genuine or part of some prank/entrapment scheme, everyone in the Dem Party and the MSM are backing away from wild charges for fear of being caught out and being accused of being part of the scheme (if that what it turns out to be).
If so, this kills the whole "scandal" potential and the matter is now, as Ed Grimly would say, "as dead as dead can be."
I predict by next week this will be long forgotten.
