Ah, they need food testers! Something for the al-Qaeda guy to do to contribute. If they die, they should be happy! 72 non-poisoned virgins.

That doesn't sound like a typical case of food poisoning. I hope they find out what it was.

"...and officials said they were investigating whether the poisoning was intentional."

I'll go out on a limb and say that it was intentional.

Some of the policemen began bleeding from the ears and nose after the meal

I'm sure some knowledgeable FReeper can comment on this better than I can. My comments would be rightfully removed if typed them.

That's for certain. Food poisoning takes a lot longer to incubate. Typically you will fall ill after the NEXT meal.

I will go farther and blame the USA DEMOCRATIC PARTY and the MSM for thier total lack of support from the begining of this war. If it wern't for them this war would have been over by now. They the DEMOCRATS and the MSM are responsible for all this bs.

Let the subhuman, lowlife, murderous, muslim-islamist-arab pig-humpers at GITMO, be food testers. No loss if they die.

Rat killer or Ricin would be my guess. Warfarin would be much slower acting, I guess that there are some blood thinning agents that work very fast.

With slow-acting poisons the tested food would have to be kept in quarantine for so long that by the end of it it would become completely unusable.

There was a story earlier this week about strychnine poisoning in a water supply in Denmark.

We are still having problems with the fresh leaf vegetables, too. An article a bit earlier pointed to lettuce being recalled.
