' can you juice Coumadin up to make it faster acting? "

I don't know. It still has to be metabolized after ingestion , so there would still be the time factor.
Coumadin overdoses usually start bleeding in the brain or intestine or after injuring themselves.
The spontaneous hemorrhaging is what you might see with a huge heparin overdose-but, that's given by injection.
Unless a terrorist chemist has found a way to weaponize heparin...

I've been reading medical texts. I just can't find anything that indicates that overdoses of warfarin can result in sudden onset of serious bleeding.

Not normal food poisoning like e coli or salmonella. Literal poison in the food. You don't bleed through your ears 15 minutes after a meal with those.

I agree. They were forcing us to try to fight a PC war, instead of wiping out all the badguys the first month, they were the ones who keep encouraging the terrorists, giving them hope, that if they just hang in there, the Dems will force us to withdraw from Iraq.

The democrats and the MSM have been undermining US national security and military efforts for over two generations now.

Since Vietnam, to include Reagan's efforts against the Soviet Union and now our efforts in the WOT in Iraq, democrats and the MSM have provided not only encouragement, but 'aid-and-comfort' to our enemies foreign and domestic.

Nothing new here. Nothing new at all.

I cant think of the name of it, but there is a chemical that can be mixed with any other chemical that causes almost instant absorbtion into the body, even through the skin.

Well, it had to be some blood thinner stuff, blood thinning either as a primary mode of action or as a secondary. Something particularly exotic along the lines of snake poison it cannot be for purely logistic reasons, and besides, these are for injection, not digestion.
And BTW, mass onset only indicates that the victims likely consumed the stuff at, or about, the same time. Nowhere is it following from that they had to consume it with their meal 2 hrs before the symptoms - given the Ramadan fast, they could have eaten it the evening before.

DMSO, dimethylsulfoxide. But the absorbtion, while rapid, is not instant.

"Some of the policemen began bleeding from the ears and nose after the meal

"Hundreds of soldiers were poisoned after taking food and water in the iftar,"

But the suddenness and severity of the sickness raised speculation that the incident could be a new attack. The division is mainly made up of Shiites.

Between 600-700 policemen were affected to varying degrees, and 11 who had the heaviest amount of the food had died, al-Atwan told The Associated Press.

Some of the soldiers collapsed as soon as they stood up from them meal, others fell "one after the other" as they headed out to the yard in the base to line up in formation, al-Atwan said. '

===

Any thoughts what could cause this sudden severe reaction?

That's a good point. I was wondering if it was just a coincidence that they became ill at this meal.

Oral ingestion is also a problem - slows down the effects. So, it may have been administered previous to that meal.

They're still fixated on the Foley foolishness.

Ya know, in a way I think the Foley Follies could be beneficial. We lost 20 soldiers in the last week or so, to snipers I think, it's kind of hard to tell from the sketchy news reports. Now this. The macacas would be trying to make big time hay out of this if they weren't so fixated on Foley, the Fag from Florida, as the sex pages so fondly called him.

Does anyone know the customs....after the time is up that they cannot eat anything....do they have a drink of water, or do they drink something special.

Of course you can't believe everything you read in the press, but the mention of those who ate more had worse symptoms....

Let's say they all had this special drink, and then the more food they are it pushed it further into the bloodstream.

Or could be a cumulative effect of the more they ate, the more poison they got.

it is among my least favored, and has been for years.

It's not even really a flavor, it's like 'plain'. Warfarin is a medication used by people with clot problems. Seems like it would have had to be a really heavy dose to make that many people sick.

From what little I have read, I think not from one exposure. And, if it had been exposure over time, you wouldn't think they would all show symptoms at the same time, and they would have felt very ill before they got to this point.

If we feed 100% of the tested food to the testers, what will our boys eat then? Pre-packaged in the States MREs? Or the testers themselves, who would taste even worse than MREs?

. I just can't find anything that indicates that overdoses of warfarin can result in sudden onset of serious bleeding.

I take warfarin. It takes awhile to build up to a desired level. A massive dose probably wouldn't do much immediately except perhaps induce vomiting. The drug wouldn't be an efficient way to poison hundreds as the dosage required would be massive and probably wouldn't work.

Some of this policemen fell over immediately after getting up from the meal.
