Talk about a sore loser [Kerry "Joke" About Assassinating President Bush?!?!]
The American Thinker ^ | October 8th, 2006 | Teri O’Brien

Posted on 10/08/2006 7:15:42 PM PDT by Enchante

Still, Mr. Clarke’s inevitable performance, and make no mistake, that’s what it was, failed to win the “Statement Most Likely to Delight the Moonbat Blogs” that night on Bill Maher’s show. That prize goes to the droning, long-faced junior senator from Massachusetts, John F. Kerry

After telling Maher that he and Te-RAY-zuh went to Vermont to celebrate her birthday, Kerry and the condescending comic had the following exchange:

Maher: “You could have went [sic] to New Hampshire and killed 2 birds with one stone.”

Kerry: “I could have gone to 1600 Pennsylvania and killed the real bird with one stone.” [delighted applause and laughter from the crowd]

Clearly this offensive statement has one thing going for it. For once Mr. Long-Story-Longer said something in less than five minutes, the meaning of which was crystal clear. It was designed to appeal to the people of the ilk of the silly passel of goofs who created the embarrassment that is Ned Lamont. It echoes the crazed musings of Cindy Sheehan. In her book Peace Mom, released last month, she writes of traveling back in time to kill the infant George W. Bush. Others on the left speak, write, and even make a film about the assasination of George W. Bush. Floating the fantasy of assasinating him plants the suggestion in the minds of millions. Just like seeing a school shooting on TV seems to trigger others to act out their own fantasy, so, too, this indulgence in sending out the message of assasination could have unfortunate consequences.

Well, we will see brian Ross and couric on this story. The wash Press corps will be demanding Pelosi and reid resign. What did Reid know and when did they know it. Oh the press is going to be on this. Talk of killing a President is illegal and the Dems and the MSm want to see the law upheld

Nothing will happen to Kerry, the MSM, or Democrats. They have the same wish for the President. Birds of a feather, you know.

Who would waste one vote on that party of losers and lunatics?

Indeed. And I cannot believe the mainstream media continues to destroy itself to protect these classless bozos.

Maher: “You could have went  ???  Bill has a wonderful command of the English language doesn't he? My pet peeve is inappropriate use of the past tense of a verb rather than the past participle.  What a putz.

This is actually a huge issue, Kerry "joking" on national TV about personally killing the President of the USA.

Maybe this should be thrust upon the biased MSM until they cannot ignore it..... just try to imagine the reaction if Republican US Senator had said the equivalent during the Clinton years.....

He was responding to a point that he should have gone to NH - and that indirectly would have helped him win the presidency. I'm pretty sure his response meant that he didn't need to go to NH or do other things to help him win - he should have just gone to the WH - implying that he was really elected President and robbed. I don't think he meant he should have gone to the WH and hit the Prez with a stone which is kind of a silly inference to make. He was just trying to be witty. I wouldn't read too much into it.

"I see you subscribe to the "spawned by humans" theory of Kerry origins. I'm a skeptic."

Honestly, I see the strong possibility that one of his parents were a goat.....not quite sure which, though.

Sickening. There was also the elected official who introduced Chuckie Schumer at a college graduation in May..."Here's the man who would like to put a bullet through the President's eyes."

Mr. Long-Story-Longer

Ha! I have to admit, I have never heard a man talk so long, and say so little.

John Kerry does not act any differently than John Mark Karr. Kerry says strange things too.

"I wouldn't read too much into it"

I very much doubt that his gleeful audience thought of it the way you do.....I think they took his words in just the way that I did and that's why their sick minds loved it..... as for what's in Kerry's tormented and pathetic mind, who knows? All I can say is that I read it (didn't see the show) as a feeble "joke" that he could get rid of President Bush.... but maybe I'm reading through the lens of that recent vile "Bush assassination" film that has the left so giddy......

At the very least, I think he should be forced to publicly clarify that he did not mean anything literal by his statement -- we can be sure that would be forced upon any prominent Republican Senator who had said the same thing during the Clintonista years!

a weird statement.

That was my impression too. But consider the source.

I have been concerned about this for quite some time. The level of hatred in the Rat party is out of control, and as more and more of these comments are made it gins up the nut-cases in our country.

Even if Kerry didn't mean this the way it sounds, the analogy is there for all to see and hear.

The worst part of this is that I don't think that if you pointed this out to Kerry, he would even be concerned. He is deriving such pleasure from the fawning of the moonbats that this is all he cares about.

I read it instantly as the way I described in my last post. I find those that would read it as a threat against the President to be twisting it into something its not. Kerry probably believes he was robbed of the Presidency. Of course some people see a conspiracy behind every rock.

The MSM do not care They HATE, President Bush. I have never seen such disrespect for a sitting President. Well, Maybe Nixon, but the hatred, rage and venom spewing from the hard left today is something, that is lately making me more and more motivated to go out and vote to keep them out. They are truly deranged!

"If a GOP Senator made a crack like that about a Dem POTUS, it would be resignation time."

Simply compare Bawney Fwank and Mark Foley...Fwank was conducting the crime, Foley was alleged to have done it. Fwank stayed; Foley resigned.

Well we have different readings of it, but I am not someone given to "see a conspiracy behind every rock" -- however, I HAVE spent enough of my life around the moonbat left (in college and grad school), and seen the dementia get worse in recent years, to know that LOTS of the people in Maher's audience who loved Kerry's remark took it the way I did. There's a reason that moonbats loved the idea of that "Bush assassination" film and that was not a figment of my conspiratorial imagination.
