...NOT da Yankees...
;-(
I think he'll bring up Israel's now pressing need to stop nutjob, too. Pressing as in THIS MONTH.
Rome. Probably in April. We were there on vacation in July and had a great time. Checked out some of our friends apartments there. Really nice big huge apartments, but the elevators and parking were all TINY~
You still have the Mets to root for.
Lucky you! Someday I will take my children for a visit. My Grandfather came to America at the age of 18 and never went back to Italy. He loved America so much!
Hey Johnnie thanks for the ping
Rush is live today??? Great!!!
Yhello!
Thanks for the ping.
What was your take on last night's thread?
Hakuna Macaca, my friends!
I think at the rate the Bears are going they're going to just about maul (literally!) all the competition on the way the Super Bowl. Not only are the Bears totally ferocious on defense, but the offense has been really good, too.
I herd Bush made a speech was something carried on all the Networks or was it just like CNN something?
One game at a time my friend. :)
Well you SHOULD go. I was there on vacation in 1980 and then July 2006 and trust me, looks the same~! Except for McDonalds springing up in ancient buildings. LOL
We really enjoyed dining out LATE at night, restaurants get busy about 9pm or later. Long leisurely dinners, taking your time with entrees. Some were $$$$$ some were not.
But the Eternal City, really IS eternal. It is fun. Don't go in July if you don't have to. Go in May. July was hot and there was a taxi strike so we were in subways and trains. Some of the newer trains are cool and clean. Some are OLD and hot and dirty.
Ostia Antica was a REAL highlight. And this time we went to Mammertine prison where St. Paul and St. Peter were imprisoned.

Another highlight was seeing where St. Paul is buried

We ran into our Texas neighers at THE FORUM~ It was funny, didn't know they were there. Our son lives in OUR house down the street from them. Small world.
My CowBoys lost ):
Good morning Johnnie!
"We are reminded of how badly the Clinton 90's era did nothing."
Not quite - Maddy HalfBright liked to toast w little Kimmy and Bubba's admin signed a treaty w him and took away sanctions. The Dims will be spinning that Clinton had done a lot of work (probably should've gotten the Nobel Peace Prize don't ya know) and Bush's admin screwed up all the good work that the Klintoon team did. We know better - but I'm sure the Dims War Room is working as we speak.
