Weldon:'Clintonistas' Are After Me
The Evening Bulletin ^ | 10/11/2006

Posted on 10/11/2006 3:26:27 PM PDT by US Navy guy

Conservative Republican Curt Weldon, running for re-election to the U.S. House, says some of his former "political enemies" are stepping up to the plate in hopes of defeating him. Weldon, who represents Pennsylvania's 7th Congressional District, says "the Clintonistas" are going after him in full force. "From Sandy Berger to John Deutsch, John Kerry to Tony Lake, to Jamie Gorelick, Mary McCarthy. They're all involved in my opponent's campaign," says Weldon. Why? According to Weldon, it is because he is in line to chair the House Armed Services Committee - and plans to expose flaws in policies put in place during the Clinton years.

Just simply identify them and make it known who these ratbastards are. It will work to your advantage.

Weldon was one guy who called it right on Clinton's ignoring terrorism threats, especially when the USS Cole was bombed. I had never heard of him until he spoke out about this. I hope his constituency sees they've a good and focused lawmaker in him and they need him back in Washington.

Weldon is a friend of the Savage Nation nation and has been trying to find out exactly what Sandy Berger stuffed down his pants.

"If I become the chair, I'll be their worst nightmare," he explains. "The truth will come out, and the American people will finally learn all the lessons about why we're having the problems we're having today in defending this nation from the threats around the world."
Observers predict the race will be a close one. His Democratic opponent is retired Vice Admiral Joe Sestak.

----- Curt Weldon is one of the real patriots in the Republican House which begs the question about Sestak's Clintonista complicity.

I am in FL but I made a contribution to Weldon, my first and only contribution ever to a political campaign, because I thought he was really being challenged by the Clinton pack !!

I get daily emails from his campaign but I have been unable to find out how he is doing !!

You are right on HighImpact .....this Republican has GUTS !!

If someone has information on how he is doing ...please post !! If he needs more money ....I will contribute again !! Curt Weldon is a good guy in my book !!

He is also in the lead in trying to expose the Able Danger Program that identified several of the 9/11 hijackers prior to 9/11 - and was shut down by the Clinton Administration - probably because they were etting to close to some of Bill's foreign fund raising operations.

I watched the debate between the very charismatic Weldon and the brain dead clintonista. Weldon dissected the hapless sestak with a verbal scalple. The little sestak looked like he didn't know what hit him. It was so onesided I found myself chuckling through most of it.

Weldon is a dynamic speaker and superb debater. I was very impressed with him.

That's exactly right concerning Able Danger.Weldon was the Rep who first brought the story about Able Danger to Sean Hannity on his radio show.Shortly afterwards an officer involved with Able Danger also went on Hannity's show, but unfortunately not long after that it was reported the office in question was ordered to stand down and shut up about everything to do with the Able Danger !!!

I didn't know that Weldon was in line to chair the House Armed Services Committee. It should be apparent that the Clintonistas have a special interest in getting rid of Weldon. They recruited a Clinton National Security Council guy from Alexandria, Virginia, to run against him. You won't hear about any of this on the Democrat news networks.

I was thinking the same thing watching sestak. I kept thinking of my father, a CW-4 who committed 23 years of his life to the Navy (he's 90 now). Mr.Sestak may or may not be a good man, but listening to him, I couldn't help but think that my father was twice the man that sestak could only hope to be. I hope that doesn't sound disrespectful, but reading about sestak and watching him perform just frosted me.

Is Weldons seat in jeopardy, or is he safe?

That depends on where Mark Foley is ..................

Seriously back on 9/18 he was out in front 52/36 but last poll I have ( 9/29 ) ( Keystone ) had him behind 1 at 44/43

I live in PA-6 (district next to Weldon's), and watched a little of this debate. I had never heard Weldon speak before. I thought he acquitted himself pretty well. He spoke like a normal guy.

It seemed to me that Sestak has been groomed in the Clintonista mold (just as Weldon has said). Slick presentation, has his talking points, doesn't vary from the talking points. He had a very irritating way of talking during the debate. Sing-song type of delivery. "Isn't it just a shame that we have such shameful leadership? What a shame, what a shame....", it seemed like he kept saying. They'd ask him a question about traffic congestion, he'd talk about Iraq and Foley. I couldn't take anymore, I shut it off.

Tip O'Neill said all politics is local, and you can see, Sestak doesn't know beans about this district, so I'm hoping that kills him.

Not to worry, Navy Guy, the reason we have so many re-treaded admirals (lower case intentional) running for various offices around the country is the Incomparable Donald Rumsfeld has been, ah—thinning the heard for the last few years . . .
