That's for a funeral at Arlington. I use to see them all the time in Pentagon City.

Air Force practice flyover for tomorrow's dedication. To follow in a few minutes: KC-135 flyover for an Arlington funeral of an old KC-135 test pilot, Colonel Charles Gandy.

"NOTE: There is an Air Force Memorial this weekend in DC and there will be numerous flybyes for practice through Saturday."
Most of the air force jets are BFP1Es and BFP2Es. They do have some BFP4Es, but it wouldn't have been one of those.

Coasties have a few sweet orange and white jets for quick ID for S/R, etc.

Ahhh, I remember that "missing man" formation flyover at Ronaldus Magnus' funeral, with the added twist that they concluded the run by climbing straight up with full afterburner.
It really made your fillings loosen (in a good way).

Four or five low-altitude flyovers here in Arlington. Latest was less than five minutes ago.

Be nice if the media had told us. We have occasional fly overs, but not like the first pass by. That one sounded like one side of a dogfight. There have been four more fly overs since. Those sounded normal.

There's been only one jet fly over Silver Spring, each time. Maybe he's the "missing man" part of the practice.
Very cool to see, once I learned that it wasn't series. And, of course after the last flyover I whack myself in the forehead and say, "Get your camera, dummy!" Too late.
