You need to give God some credit- You are attempting to descredit him by pointing out what you think are contradictions. I have come to believe many do that to descredit the Church as well by pointing out the Crusades, or Galileo. Why? Perhaps to validate your own beliefs? God is pro-life and so is the Church. What is the whole point to your arguement?

Any rules at all are an affront to some.

True. And some of those are in jail.

"You need to give God some credit- You are attempting to descredit him by pointing out what you think are contradictions."

You have it completly wrong - I have no problem with God knowing everything including the future and that is completly consistant with his changing his mind and changing the future.

On the other hand, it appears that you feel that mankind is so important or persuasive that anything you could do would change his mind.

I don't pretend to know WHY he set things up the way he did, but he did KNOWING for certain that things would be exactly this way at this point in time.

As far as God being Pro-life ... perhaps, but He designed the human female so that it CAN happen, and knew that it would. Do you think he's surprised at what's going on ?

God respects our free-will, even when we chose evil. Otherwise, He might strike us down at his whim.

And man can be persuasive through prayer, but of course, it would have to conform to God's will as well. For example, I cannot pray for someone's death or pray for the right lotto numbers.
I pray 4 rosaries every night for mercy. Not just for myself but also for others. I know He hears them and since God is merciful, I know my prayers are answered.
